A simple Stage 1 APR should be able to give you that satisfaction

But to digress..I've read some alarming post on some issues on the twincharger engine..seems like some problems with lost compressions in cylinders. Usually happens after 20k milage. If so..stage 1 APR is a real no no then..

Stage 2 is not available for the Golf 1.4 TSI but I have read mods done on the Golf in Germany and they are able to bring the car to 300bhp but that is more for the manual one as the 7speed DSG gearbox can't withstand that amount of power.

Problem about installing Dynaudio here is that the warranty will be voided. That means anything that is electronically powered in the car will have it's warranty voided.

Sad story...

During CNY, I am facing difficulties to start my car and suspecting my battery running out of power. My car only 8 months old and shounldn't R.I.P that early. Though, I sent my car to VW Jalan Ipoh Service centre and the service consultant do checking for me. He told me that my car's Radio causing the battery drained even your vehicle is switch OFF.

Initially, full battery = 12.5 +/- and my result showed nearly dead = around 9.5
He said my car require check & rectify and download the new software for the radio update and claim for a new battery however their system are not fully online and link to VGM yet.

So that, he advice to send my car to Wearnes VW, Sg.Besi.

Well, this morning I sent my car to Wearnes VW and I told him my issue...He call the Service advisor at VW Jalan ipoht. After that, I asked him that am I eligible to claim a new battery because the radio causing the battery leaking off the energy. He replied that I'm not be able to claim a new battery because the battery warranty is over and subject based on individual driving condition. I was like...WTH ? I told him...Is not about individual driving condition, is because of the radio issue...He never reply anything to me

Anyone facing this problem ?
Do you think Wearnes VW will replace a new battery for me ?

I called again an hour ago...the SA told me: "The radio seen not original from Volkswagen, Did you change the radio"...I never ever mod anything for my ride, how come its not original ? The same answer from him "we will to full checking on it" 
I guess can't get my car by today:(

You are right bro..Take this valuable leasson. Sometimes we cannot 100% trust SA, they are so tricky ...

Hehe yeah my colleague who used to work in BMW also said that the warranty thing is very standard and common and BMW themselves uses it.

Remapping really that risky one ah? What bout people who stay outside KL? Like myself, in Ipoh. If I remap my car, I'll have to do it in KL.... and if got any problem, I'll have to travel to KL to do it... I'll only do it if it is stable. If risky, I'll think I'll pass.

all the 2011 models come with drl light but VGM has ordered that it be replaced with the standard headlights till they start promotion for the DRL lights. so if u get a golf in march/april most likely no drl.
mine had DRL but VGM ordered FA wagen to change it

Exotic Mods has them and there are a couple of shops in Sunway which also have those kits as well.

Heard that it was >10k for the kit (ouch!)

SA and centre also. I was supposed to get my car today but SA called up and say ...errr..manager changed my car. Have to rearrange insurance and puspakom inspection. WTF?
Seriously thinking of cancelling the order. I have a sneaky feeling that they kinda bypass me for some VIP to get his/her faster. This is on top that I have paid my balance 2 weeks ago, everything was in order and SA told me that she needs 10 days to sort things out. Now 2 weeks down all this non sense came about..

I bought this car as a Valentine gift for missus..so now its already 1 week past deadline..missus getting pissed... hahahaha..and so am I.
Guess if I elect to take the car I wont be going back to Cergaz for this type of shitty service. God damn it..my worst fear has materialised even before I get my car. Crap service...VGM should take note of this!!
