Can we order the custom-made specs from Machines or MacStudio or Epicentre?
or is it easier to order via Online?
*

I'm not 100% sure but from the pictures, the SSD connector looks to be a little narrower than a standard MiniPCI-E port. If it was indeed the correct size, the SSD would be about as long as a desktop DDR2 DIMM.

It's likely that we'll see upgrades from Runcore and other aftermarket SSD manufacturers, but 256GB is about the largest you can get these days anyway.

Just purchased my new MacBook Air 2010 from Apple Store Chadstone. They have them for demo at their show floor.

Here's the unboxing video of my new MacBook Air 2010, done in a hurried fashion. tongue.gif

Enjoy!

Specs is as follows:- 11.6"/2GB RAM/1.4GHz C2D, 128GB SSD and comes with iLife'11.

The unboxing was done in a hurry, I'm leaving the hotel for the airport in 30 minutes.

i doubt it's because of the processor, try to check your HDD and see if theres anything wrong there.

is this your primary computer? if it is then, better get at least 128GB. Cause when you have a taste for movies every extra space would matter, you cant bring along an external HDD on the plane, it'll be messy IMHO of course.

macbook pro will meet your requirement since it come with faster processor, larger hardisk space and ram upgradeable up to 8gb.
the advantage for macbook air over macbook pro will be 1kg lesser, faster storage access speed
