But if we place our photos on the external drive, its hard to to do anything with iPhoto app when you want to see those photos, right?

Its really a fantastic machine and fast!
I am going to use this as my main Machine.

Like @hapa said, its possible that the battery is bulging.
Recently I have this problem with my MBP. When the MBP is hot, the battery bulged and pushed the trackpad which makes it difficult to be responsive.
The cost is battery is damn expensive.

Somehow I don't like the design of the Magsafe for the new MBA...
I prefer the way they design for the MBP etc.
Not sure why Apple design it that way.
This photo below is taken with an older MBA but it looks almost the same..
