Just installed 10.6.6. No problems so far.
A little annoyed that it won't register my apps as "purchased" if I got them before the launch of the App Store. This will probably phase out as time goes on, though. |

hi all, plan to purchase a new MBA 11" and I already have MBP 13". How to setup if I want to sync files easily between MBA and MBP? Do I need additional hardware or software?

easy way to do it on cloud, you can try
Dropbox, 2GB free mobile me (perfect for you), paid cuz you're not running server, those file are just store at local. you're not pull file from central location what i can recommend to you, use dropbox to sync files you're working on, then archive those you're are not longer needed, save it just for record. Use MBA as remote, MBP as local |

QUOTE(cRazYee @ Jan 7 2011, 12:29 PM) easy way to do it on cloud, you can try Good suggestion. I was thinking to use external hdd to store all the files but not sure it will be slow for accessing and of course a bit hassle to plug in hdd every time. Use MBA as remote, MBP as local Dropbox seems to be a better and convenient way. |

I haven't try on it yet since I do not have any problems with my routerusing belkin modem + router 2in1. not sure whether its G or N. so N can go further? *sorry if im discussing about modem here. |

You can use an Airport Express to extend the range of your wireless network if your router supports WDS. For cheaper options, try the TP-Link Wireless repeaters, less than RM 90 each. Whatever you do, don't buy the DLink DAP-1360, that one just does not work.
In my house, I'm using the TPLink to boost the signal strength to upstairs. My router is downstairs. Works fine with my MBP, iPad, iPhone, PCs, etc... The DLink that I mentioned above does not work at all. Wierd. |
