To uninstall apps, simply drag your application to trash from your application folder.

How to write chinese? See the top right there with an american flag? Click it and choose Chinese - Simplified.

Hi guys, any thoughts on the MacBook on whether it can be a replacement for home use? MSN, Youtube/Facebook, and also wondering if it's suitable for video editing + music production (GarageBand i believe?). I'm on a low budget, and RM3659 (upgrade to 4gb ram) is reasonable to me.

I'm actually not sure whether a few hundred ringgit over the Mac Mini is worth the portability of the Macbook.. I don't really go out alot, but the portability would help sometimes..

Mac sifus please help me!
*
I'm using my Macbook with attached LCD as my prior gadget. All the MSN, youtube/Facebook, video editing, blah blah blah are all doing on my mac. With a LCD attached, it just like a desktop for me. On it once i woke up every morning and off it every night before my sleep. Portability is the key that i've purchased Macbook too. Is that fullfill your needs? hehe

Thx for the info, cos im jus worried that i need to change my battery quite often, cos i do torrent, but also will carry my macbook around when im doing project. so i only put in my battery when im taking out, if not i just take off the battery so the battery have longer life span.

I looked up on apple website, they said can charge 1000 times, so if the battery is non removable.... 2 and half year need to go change?
*
We can't confirm that 2 and half year then need to change. It all depends on your usage style i guess. It's recommend to do batteries calibration once a month as 'maintanance'. tongue.gif

hi guys, I need some advice, is it good to buy the macbook, just worry its near the end of the product cycle so if I get it now a new generation will be out in the corner.
*
If you're not urgent to get one, you might need to wait for a while more.
Or get the Macbook Pro/Air instead if you want early cycle product? tongue.gif

I have already paid for Macbook Pro 13" 2.4GHz. Wish I can afford the 2.66 one but no budget. sad.gif Still waiting for DHL but it's damn slow wei. BTW, how terrible is this heat issue everyone's talking about? I heard that if you don't use certain programs, then it won't be that hot. I wish there are more USB ports. Three would be great.
*
I don't see any huge different wit the 0.26GHz. haha..2.4GHz is enough le..
and the heat issue, IMHO i feel that flash is one of the causes..Whenever i open flash game, it increase..Just my 2 cents. Chill..

if it's Q2 rather than Q1...I dont c why I shall not buy it now
but if it's Q1..then I buy now...I will make a loss anyhow
as in reduction of current model price due to EOL or same price but better specs MBP 13"
*
Are you urge to get the MBP now? If there's not that rush to get, better wait for a while =p Just my two cents

it's probably a kernel panic. did u get something like this? http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/8337/lolappxc8.png

it can be a lot of reasons but normally it's because of a faulty RAM. what u can do is, take out one 2gb n use ur computer normally, see if u still get the same problem. if no, then probably the RAM u took out is faulty. if yes, proceed:

put back the first 2gb u took out, and take out the other 2gb, then use ur computer again to check for kernel panics. if no, then the second RAM is probably faulty. if yes, either both RAMs are faulty or something else is giving u these problems

u can search for instructions to change ur RAM at ifixit.com
*
Yes it's the exactly screen I got! Omg RAM problem? But before that I used the new ram for quite many months without problem le..Okay cool, I will try to take it out and try! Thanks bro!
