How to Print Screen to a file on the desktop in Mac OS X
The basic functionality of taking a screen capture of a window or desktop in Mac OS X takes an image and dumps it to a file on the Mac desktop:
Command+Shift+3: takes a screenshot of the full screen (or screens if multiple monitors), and save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4: brings up a selection box so you can specify an area to take a screenshot of, then save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4, then spacebar, then click a window: takes a screenshot of a window only and saves it as a file to the desktop

How to Print Screen to the Clipboard on a Mac
This functions a lot more like Print Screen in the Windows world. If you want to do the equivalent of Print Screen to the clipboard so that you can paste it into another app, these are the commands you’d want to use:
Command+Control+Shift+3: take a screenshot of the entire screen (screens if multiple monitors), and saves it to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere
Command+Control+Shift+4, then select an area: takes a screenshot of selection and saves it to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere
Command+Control+Shift+4, then space, then click a window: takes a screenshot of a window and saves it to the clipboard for pasting

if it's too hard to memorize this, juz go to System Preferences > Keyboard. Change the shortcuts under Screen Shots

or just launch the Grab application smile.gif

imyschong,

I am having the same problems as you. I think it's on the Microsoft's team side.

macbook is 2.13kg, macbook pro 13" is 2.54kg. only 410grams difference.

best to go to an apple reseller n lift it up urself. only u can decide whether it's too heavy or not tongue.gif

actually, MBP 13 is lighter and thinner than MB. apparently polycarbonate is pretty high in density, but in order to match up MBP in terms of unibody structure integrity and strength, it has to be a lil thicker for that. so that explains the extra weight and overall dimensions. there you go, another reason to choose MBP over MB

MB = 2.13kg
MBP 13 = 2.04kg
MBP 15 = 2.54kg

Which is more worth it,
a MBP 13" Core 2 Duo @ 2.66GHz with GeForce 320M at RM4899
or
a MBP 15" i5 @ 2.4GHz with GeForce 330M 256MB at RM5899?

That's like a thousand ringgit hike in price.. sad.gif

13" offers more battery life , 15" offers more performance and it has a better GPU

Guys,

I wana ask...
When I'm charging my MBP, I feel the electricity shock around the edges, especially where the wrist rest area is.. any ideas?

I remember reading it somewhere but couldn't find it back on the thread.. sorry sad.gif

I'm using the MagSafe plugged with the extended cable to my power source extension..

THx.

As above, battery, GPU, CPU, weight. Factor in yourself which one is the most important.
Example: I chose MBP 13 because of main priority are the weight factor. ~500gram difference might be small but I lug those thing around and most of the time with 2 laptop so weight is my utmost priority. GPU are not my priority at all. CPU yes but I'm not using much CPU extensive apps so I don't mind that much...
Price is one thing but does that 1k difference justify our purchase. If you really use those then choosing MBP 13 is not a good idea although it's cheaper because you end up with more frustration..haha

Lighter yes but with the expense of few stuff like no superdrive, lacking much USB etc....I prefer MBP 13 since it's like being in the middle of MBA and MBP 15

i dont think so, despite a few people claim it is. if it is IPS, apple would market it as such
