im using razer orochi, and notice that u need to change some option in razer preferences..what i always do is, i just uncheck the 'Enable Acceleration' box, then check the box back, then wohoo the mouse back to normal..but i need to do it every time i boot into mac, which is quite annoying..dunno if there are special way to overcome the prob.

Sometimes mac have a problem with WPA protocol, same with me when try to sharing the internet connection using WEP using my MBP, windows users cannot connect although the password is correct, using WEP sharing with MAC, ipod, iphone, and my E72 no problem at all, can connect to the internet. You might be need to setup manually the dns server ip for this kind of problem.

macbook if you're on a budget

Try changing from WPA to WEP. I had issues with WPA and 802.11n as well. So I reverted back to WEP + 802.11n. works great

- SD card reader
- firewire port
- infrared sensor (for apple remote)
- backlit keyboard

n generally the aluminium body is easier to keep clean n protect against scratches compared to the white plastic tongue.gif in my opinion it's really worth it

No it isn't. Well you're a female, so it could be heavy for you, but I've been going around and about with mine, without even the slightest regret about the weight.

macbook is 2.13kg, macbook pro 13" is 2.54kg. only 410grams difference.

best to go to an apple reseller n lift it up urself. only u can decide whether it's too heavy or not tongue.gif

Apple OS is pretty straight forward actually. The white keyboard means its the MacBook White Unibody. The black keyboard has a blacklite feature on the Macbook Pro.

How to Print Screen to a file on the desktop in Mac OS X
The basic functionality of taking a screen capture of a window or desktop in Mac OS X takes an image and dumps it to a file on the Mac desktop:
Command+Shift+3: takes a screenshot of the full screen (or screens if multiple monitors), and save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4: brings up a selection box so you can specify an area to take a screenshot of, then save it as a file to the desktop
Command+Shift+4, then spacebar, then click a window: takes a screenshot of a window only and saves it as a file to the desktop

How to Print Screen to the Clipboard on a Mac
This functions a lot more like Print Screen in the Windows world. If you want to do the equivalent of Print Screen to the clipboard so that you can paste it into another app, these are the commands you’d want to use:
Command+Control+Shift+3: take a screenshot of the entire screen (screens if multiple monitors), and saves it to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere
Command+Control+Shift+4, then select an area: takes a screenshot of selection and saves it to the clipboard for pasting elsewhere
Command+Control+Shift+4, then space, then click a window: takes a screenshot of a window and saves it to the clipboard for pasting

1st step you should try. create a new location.

go to system preferences>network, look at the top of the window. there something call location on top (by default, it shows automatic).
click on that and select edit locations. click on the + sign to add a new location. then press on apply. restart your computer and test again.

2nd thing, tell us the IP address that u are getting. are you getting a self assign IP (169.254.XXX.XXX)??

3rd thing. Instead of trying to browse using safari. try to ping a website and see what it says.

go to Applications> Utilities> network utilities. you have an option to ping there. do you get error like unable to resolve DNS etc etc??

after all those if still having issue, easiest thing to test is to create a new user account.

go to system preferences and create a new user account. lets say if happens on a new user, then boot into the Mac OS install DVD and tried to do a ping test when u boot into the install DVD. if issue persist in the Mac install DVD = HW issue.

Try all those steps 1st. tell me after doing which step the issue is resolve, then i will guide u through how to resolve it. you can pm me with the results as i don't linger here much.
