QUOTE(Maverick Wil @ Aug 12 2010, 09:18 PM) Talking about screen brightness... I cannot stand the screen auto-adjust feature especially since I usually keep my environment pretty dark .....so I turn it off on my MBP whether if it is plugged in or running on battery. For the first week , I was like uh okay cool. Later it was annoying , so I turned it off. I hate when the ambient light sensor kicks in ...Can't stand the auto-adjust on the iPhone either. I like my screens retina-burning bright. |

QUOTE(#Fly @ Aug 15 2010, 06:26 AM) Which is more worth it, 13" offers more battery life , 15" offers more performance and it has a better GPUa MBP 13" Core 2 Duo @ 2.66GHz with GeForce 320M at RM4899 or a MBP 15" i5 @ 2.4GHz with GeForce 330M 256MB at RM5899? That's like a thousand ringgit hike in price.. |

QUOTE(miaka_tama @ Aug 17 2010, 04:11 PM) Hey guys, By default bootcamp wants 32-bit. You can install 64-bit Windows 7 nevertheless. As for me , I did install Windows 7 32-bits !Regarding Bootcamp for Mac, can any version of Windows be installed? Example for Windows 7, can both 32bit n 64bit work fine? Or is there a 32bit version actually? Tq! |

QUOTE(Moutzu @ Sep 5 2010, 12:22 AM) I dunno whether this had been asked b4 or not. I am new to Mac. Previously when I was using a Dell lappy, I will connect it direct to an AC outlet, thus bypassing using the battery. Can I do this with my MBP by connecting the Magsafe Power Adaptor to an AC power outlet? Will this be bypassing the battery in the MBP? The battery knows when to charge and when not to charge. Well if you open up the laptop and remove the battery , which you could do. The laptop would go down to reduced performance , this is totally normal. Even dell does this |

QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Sep 12 2010, 08:54 PM) Ahh what I meant was can VMware boot up only one OS. But I'm assuming from your answer, no just boot natively to windows , thats allIf I am not mistaken, You have either dragged/accidentally dragged a file to the top on the window before(where the '?' is) and you deleted that file Anyway I've managed to get MW2 to work in OSX , mp works great (its non-steam but I've the original version , had to patch it to work with private servers and stuff) , but then its a proof of concept that we can play windows games @ osx ! |

QUOTE(mememe12 @ Oct 10 2010, 01:31 PM) u mean something like this? Boot with command + v and when there is a kernel panic , you'll get a report why it did panic instead of that screen. Used by hackint0sh community to debug. On real mac , you'll find out why it panics and which piece of hardware is causing the issue![]() i also wonder how to cure this.. got 2 times in about 6 months use.. once see this screen.. means KO... |

QUOTE(tzxsean @ Oct 28 2010, 04:31 PM) well....im buying to replace my Compaq laptop. I surt net and watch movies for most of the time. No gaming on laptop instead just play iPhone games. about video editing and photoshop part. Im just a beginner. I haven touch on that part b4 in my windows laptop. Basically my main consideration is between MBW or MBA. The main trade off is the size of the screen and the processor. About storage I can always depend on external HDD MacBook White would do the trick certainly , again for a person like you who want to save up money. I would say get the White and use the extra to get protective sleeve , keyboard protector. If you get the MacBook Pro , you'll have to spend even more for the extrasEventually, if I managed to get more incentive, I absolutely go for MBP 13" Notice the RM 500 extra can be used to buy things to protect your macbook white investment |

QUOTE(marcus20125 @ Nov 12 2010, 06:13 PM) nope, you can only upgrade ram thru apple store. Correction , Apple does not allow you to boot Windows via USB. It only allows GPT blessed drives to boot via USB. You'll be needing reEFIt. Google search that up are you talking about install windows on MBA by using USB drive?if in this case, yes, you can,4gb will be enough Apple laptops can't boot regular USB thumb drives (i.e windows installation on usb , or live linux on USB) unless its blessed as GPT ! QUOTE(kmoh4346 @ Nov 13 2010, 08:53 AM) Hi, I just bought myself Macbook Air 11" and I want to connect to the internet via my Nokia E series Just go to Bluetooth , add new device.
