My guess is, the promo tommorow is like a jualan penghabisan stok for those unsold RM1 ticket last May 2011. The period of travel is the same. Since i've already booked all my ticket during the May 2011 promotion, i won't bother too much bout this one. However for those who miss last round, this will be the time.

Hi peeps, I in dire need of help currently. I have just book a flight ticket to Singapore (not from the RM3 sale) this Sep weekend trip.

Suppose to depart on 10 Sep and return on 11 Sep. Hence depart on 10 Sep early morning 0630 and plan to come back on 2120 on 11 Sep.

Somehow think the system jam up (due to the RM3 sale) and it refreshes my browser and it help me auto reselect the earliest trip 0720 on 11 Sep instead.

But seeing the price the same (partly my fault for not checking the time again), I proceeded to check out and from the itinerary only i notice the time difference doh.gif

any chance for me to change the flight ticket without any extra charges as i consider detect it early but the call line only open 7am cry.gif

To change the time need me to fork out another RM100 each as I'm going in a group. icon_question.gif Anyone manage to get a free change of time before for such scenario?

I have encountered this problem before. Air Asia auto selected the time for my friend and I. What we did was to call up and explain to the operator and demand for the change of the flight time. Because it's not our fault as we have gone through the process again and again. Later, the operator checked back their system and changed the flight time for us to the latest flight smile.gif

I have 5 passengers in one booking number
2 of the passengers can't make it.

Is it possible to check-in only 3 travellers via Web Check-in ?
Is it possible to get refund for the 2 passengers ?

I called the Air asia toll line, they ask me to try submit the E-form and see as they say if the change at call centre need to pay the charges fees.

I'll try my luck and see, hopefully there's good news *fingers cross*

Tickets to Ho Chi Minh are much cheaper than Hanoi. sad.gif

Wanted to make it as a family trip up there, RM 180 inclusive of all for return ticket per person.

But to Hanoi doubles the rate. sad.gif

I Googled and most of the people suggested Hanoi over HCM, it says that Hanoi is much traditional in a way compared to HCM which is a bustling city. I love taking photos and I think Hanoi suits me better obviously. Realistically speaking, I can't because of the cost... sad.gif So, is HCM really that bad?

Hiya, I've been to HCM last year, yes it's that bad, people are rude, they only want your $. Plus it was super hot. My hubby's uncle went to Hanoi and he just loves that place. Infact he goes there every year so I guess that speaks alot.

I've been to HCM and it's quite okay for me. Infrastrucutre is very intriguing. My vietnamese friend even say that Hanoi people is not nice at all haha they just wanna con your money. They say because of the deep communist mentality in Hanoi, people are more harsh in Hanoi region. I don't know which is which. So i guess it's better if we go to both place and judge by ourselves.

Yes I agree it's quite subjective. Plus the country is actuallly divided between north and south so...tour guide was saying that those in Hanoi will always say HCM is horrible and vice versa la. Anyway for me I didnt enjoy HCM. Period. They were some pretty intriguing infrastructure yes like the Notre Dame Cathedral , post office, cu chi tunnel, but going there once is more than enough smile.gif Shopping is very cheap though, however i hate how they were rude and would grab us to buy items.

How long does the refund (Airport Tax) take to be credit into your CC ?
Do we need to submit any documantation on why the 2 passenger didn't board the flight ?

I report to AirAsia using the feedback form in the website, provide them the booking ID, date and time, how many person. My booking was for 6 person, but 3 of us unable to travel. So, I ask for the refund of airport tax for return flights for 3 person. Then they will contact you by email, ask you for bank account number. Then they will transfer the money into your account. The whole process is around 3 months.
