Just to remind you guys here. Airasia is getting strict on hand luggage. Take notes now they only permitted 1 hand luggage for 1 passanger.

Most customers dunno that you can claim back the airport tax if you cancel yr flight. The no refund rule does not include aiport taxes (both countries) as the tax is pay to respective govt ONLY if you fly. So AA is actually earning a lot on airport taxes if customer do not request for refund. They cannot deny you of the refund. I got mine for all flights I missed or didn't make it.

May I know more about the refund of airport tax?
As I check on their website, all airport tax refund is subject to a processing fee. The processing fee is charged guest per sector. How much is the processing fee?
When we do online booking, the "Airport charges & fees" is equal to airport tax?
If I make a group booking for 6 person, if only 2 of us want to cancel the flight, can we get the refund for airport tax?

I have 5 passengers in one booking number
2 of the passengers can't make it.

Is it possible to check-in only 3 travellers via Web Check-in ?
Is it possible to get refund for the 2 passengers ?

How long does the refund (Airport Tax) take to be credit into your CC ?
Do we need to submit any documantation on why the 2 passenger didn't board the flight ?

I report to AirAsia using the feedback form in the website, provide them the booking ID, date and time, how many person. My booking was for 6 person, but 3 of us unable to travel. So, I ask for the refund of airport tax for return flights for 3 person. Then they will contact you by email, ask you for bank account number. Then they will transfer the money into your account. The whole process is around 3 months.

Doesn't matter for the first/last name issue. Both A B C and B C A are acceptable.

WONG AH BENG. Normally on airlines ticket, your name will appear as AH BENG WONG.

Depending on how u key-in the "First name" and "Last name/Surname". I'm chinese, I like to put my family name in "First name", while I have friend like to put his family name as "Surname". Both also ok. It will appear either "Mr WONG, AH BENG" or "Mr AH BENG, WONG".
