the problem for this would be balancing ur larvae for drones vs army...
u can mostly identify 4 gate by scouting (try playing toss doing 4 gate and u can see things u usually cant as a zerg)...

4 gate is disgusting lol but with decent spread of creep tumor, hydras are unstoppable by protoss other than collosus.

1st tier:
zerglings > roach
banelings > zerglings
roach > banelings
---------------------------------
2nd tier:
mutalisk > roach
hydra > mutalisk
banelings > hydra

*i still not sure bout hydra <> roach

extra support: infestors

unless its a long game which consist of BL n ultra...

errrr.....i tried a few games using hydra against muta but didnt work quite well.....your creep spread must be super imba.....

yeah creep spread is a must, at least around your base...

hydra > muta is very true...u try go muta..
opponent sure go hydra n u will feel how hard it is to harass...
and 1 more thing, your hydra can't leave base until a certain mass...
else it'll be a nightmare since muta fly so fast laugh.gif

da easier solution would be spores...lol
but must be strategically placed... smile.gif

Yup yup, in my recent game I had 7 hydras to guard my main...
and opponent had 8-9 mutas.
and I won. icon_rolleyes.gif

but now there's a new problem. If I go late game I srsly dunno what to do.
opponent had roach, ultra, some hydra, and mutas.

should I counter ultra with BL? or maybe I should do something with infestors?

usually in mid game I spam roach and hydra and upgrades, but after that I.... I freeze de watching 6 ultras marching to my base. ohmy.gif

if opponent can out 6 ultra while you cant, your macro probably need some fix. get more bases, inject more larvae, you can outmass him in roach, hydra and he will have no time to tech up to ultra. i would recon dont go into late game...

Any idea how to beat the typical Stalker/Sentry/Immortal spam usually used by Protoss players in 1v1 leagues?

Pretty much most of the higher tier Protoss players seem to rely on this strategy: Wall up with photon cannons, spam tech, and strike while you are most likely be expanding. I've yet to find a reliable counter for this while playing as Zerg. Any tips will be helpful, thanks. smile.gif

i would just stick to hydra roach whole game long until protoss get collosus...then i will throw in corrupter...

or 2 base 3 hatch +1 speedling all in. another thing is, hydra > all protoss unit until collosus is out...(assuming collo come b4 HT lol)
