just got myself into silver today =_=. Anyways I just wanna ask, if playing against a terran that tech-rushed into mass Thor, what should be the correct way of handling that situation?

roach with speed and burrow -> ultras

T ready up for mass thors gives alot room for Z to tech up n expand, as well as alot room for the z player to harass wif the absent of tanks, thors are lol slow too.

Roach with speed is good enough combine with banes to keep the marines away just like fruits first game against boxer during blizzcon

not easy to micro speedlings to surround, baneling to boom (move and not atk move) and muta's magic box...
add more complexity when u are doing moving overlord dropping >.<

for T to tech to thors, they can do it without giving much breather for the Z player to freely expand. the marines and hellions combo with scv as meatshield and mech repairs will be able to harass very effectively not to mention aggressive bunker forcing Z to be confined if the Z lacks the force to apply pressure. all these while the T player can still be producing the same units and completing the armory and tech labs for more mech push like thor. a single early thor with 4-5scv repairing is pretty deadly.

which units u all prefer to use against marine/medivac/siege/thor?

muta + bane + speed + infestors...

the other day i was spamming muta but the opponent held ground very well. later he come with vikings + thor + marines combo. i gg liao. no way i can beat that with just muta and lings.

what would be great to vs viking / thor / marine combo? air unit confirm gone case. ground unit? marines and thor, quite deadly. even more deadly if the fella got medivac and SCV around.

what would you guys suggest?

I find roaches much more cost efficient than ultras but thats just me

roaches would get melted by thors backed by scv. ultras can cleave them up, and no one said JUST use ultra/infestor. you can mix ultra/roach/hydra/infestor if you will.

funny 3 times in my game thors are only backed up with marines/marauders/medivacs

the scenario mentioned was in my match against a platinum player.
