good video, however, this is considered a little low play considering both side's econ is really poor, and for the toss, a better way is still to use 1-2 zealot to preasure the marauder so your stalkers DO NOT take fire unnecessarily and allows your stalker army to eventually overpower the terran. not linger in death's gate for all eternity until you score a PROXY pylon (terran could always counter that, mind you.)

while the match between me and djsub is definitely not amongst the highest level of play, it does provide better information on how a protoss responds to this sorta threat, and how a TERRAN player EXECUTES it.

Btw guys, any tips for Desert Oasis map against Terran? Seems like that map favours Banshees and Vikings a lot.

I tried pushing out Phoenixes fast, yet gets killed off by Vikings, then harrassed by cloaked Banshees. I do fast stalkers with observer, and yet get harassed by Banshees, killing out my obs with just a scan.

The other alternative I could think off is to build cannons but that gets me into defensive play and I like having a mobile army instead of static defenses.

Any comments on this? Would appreciate it.

just be more daring with ur phoenixes and u will kill vikings wit ease...

go 1-1-1 build (3-1-1 to be exact)...
1 gate into stargate (phoenixes) into robo (observers) then just build accordingly...

i always place my buildings in cheese prone map to seal off 1 side of my mineral line...

i finally got eliminated from the tourney 3-0. this tourney taught me well that i need to L2sentry. despite how i hate casters (which of course includes, sentries)

speedlings, speedlings everywhere.

Any idea how to defend against Banshees?

You get pushed to be so defensive its kinda annoying. Sure I have my stalkers but you have no idea where they will come next unless you invest in more than 2 obs to set in on the perimeter. Heaven forbid if you have an expo too.

If I could scout better than its fine I could go stargate. But I'm always afraid of rushing robotics lest you find MM knocking on your door. Hate it when they wall in like that and can't scout.

Thinking of placing a cannon or two but... meh.

HELP T_T.

2-3 photon cannons to keep them at bay until ur stalkers can arrive with obs (in case cannons got wiped)
and blink is almost a must to either get to ur base in time, or taking out the banshees to even the score depending on how much dmg is done to ur base

robotics is still the more steady method against terran. colo takes out MM ball and tanks too. though ideally you'd want a couple of templars too if the MM ball is too heavy and they can STILL snipe ur colo ignoring ur army of zealots/stalkers.
