if they 2 rax early pressure u with marauders and marines, u will eventually have to pull probes. After u got your 1st sentry to forcefield the ramp and split his army into half, everything will be quite fine, but still pulling probes are your best bet even if u miss your forcefield, and try to surround the marines and marauder with your probes becuz they run slower than the probes

this normally happens when u have your 1st zealot and stalker

if he 3 rax all in you, u will normally have your warpgate tech completed, considered if u chrono boast it, so keep forcefield at your ramp and pump zealots and stalker to fend of the push, when u think it is quite safe, throw down the robo and proceed to colossus out of 1 base if he tries to contain u with a lot of units at your natural expo, u can know by sending out observer to scout. if he has just a little units to contain u, run all your gateway unit to hit him and try to use your forcefield in the most efficient way before he got his stim pack, stim pack timing normal is between 8-9 min mark. u can expand by this as he also be expanding cuz the little units count shows that he is not going to all in by the the being

general rules, probes (early game), forcefield (mid-late game, especially when u dont have colossi), colossi (mid-late game) are your friends to counter marines marauders, remember to chrono boast your extended thermal lance as colossi with no extended range is useless cuz marines marauders can snipe it easily, u will be amazed that 1 colossus with range is better than 2 colossi without range considered both scenarios have equally same amount of tanking units around the colossi. proceed to chargelots in the late game

IMO, immortals are kinda unnecessary as they can be easily caught outta position cuz immortal cannot really stay out of range of the marines marauders to shoot in this 1.3 patch

i never get immortals...
without stim, 3 gate worth of units can easily hold 2-3 rax pushes as long as u have decent FFs...
tat way, u can spend ur extra income on tech or expansion...

as what u said, dun be afriad to pull probes if u see a scv train...
nothing worst than losing ur army only pulling ur probe when it is too late...
for me i always love to go FE in PvT thus i wont hestitate to pull probe since i am ahead on eco if they decided to allin...

Here's some of my replays, I'm not good enough, but hope those P's out there can learn at least a tiny bit from me biggrin.gif

Note that all of these replays are from ladder as i make my way up and down the GrandMasters League, except me vs Koros.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROTOSS VS TERRAN.

2 series of game between me and nGenMarine, i suggest you watch this PvT series, Game 2 gets even better as the aggression never stops.

Game 1 - Ryper(P) vs nGenMarine(T)

On Xelnaga Cavern.

Game 2 - Ryper(P) vs nGenMarine(T)

On Nerazim Crypt

And this one is between me and Axinz, a Terran with solid build.

Ryper(P) vs Axinz(T)

On Xelnaga Cavern.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROTOSS VS ZERG.

This is a game between me and MmMKoros, im sure you've heard of him for he's been giving advises to Malaysian players, he's a very solid zerg, I've been losing to him 80% of the time as he's a deadly zerg.

Ryper(P) vs MmMKoros(Z)

On MLG xelnaga Cavern.

This is a game between me and NoPainNoGain, a crazy zerg which always changed his strategy each game.

Ryper(P) vs NoPainNoGain(Z)

On Shakuras Plateau

This is a game between me and TheDUDE, a cheesy zerg, this a game where he went for some crazy strategy which I didn't know how to react and counter it.

Ryper(P) vs TheDUDE(Z)

On Xelnaga Cavern

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PROTOSS VS PROTOSS.

It's always the same, why would i upload one, lol.

Good job, Ryperer. Will watch it tonight..Now working.

All Msia Protoss players, especially the GM one, should share your replays with the fellow of Brotoss. Help us, lower Brotoss to improve.

EDIT: Wow, Ryperer, I just watched the match between you and GenMarine..It was fcking intense. Every minute of full-pack actions. What I like about your game is, you actually use a lot of unit composition. By the way, how is your relationship with Gen clan? It seems that both of you didn't talk at all in the game. Not even "gl hf or gg" things. Your micro is superb. How do you do that? Also, GenMarine waste no time to do 1/1/1 against you and you did a great job to fend it away.

I think watching the foreigner's one is better than ours, at least watching ours you will know where are fellow malaysian protoss standard at, but if you wan the real deal, watch foreigner's.

There's always a reason why SEA players are not invited to MLG.

1. only koreans are invited to MLG, no1 else is invited... besides that, the MLG global only have NA, EU and KR not other servers who are still really good like china
2. SEA metagame and KR/ NA/ EU metagame is different

ps: thanks ryper for sharing =p

Thx for the compliment biggrin.gif, i'm good with nGen, was invited once into nGen by nGenMaster since they got little protoss player, it's just that they're too full of pride and arrogant, that's fine with me as long as they're not bad mannered =D, my micro still needs lots of work, that's just normal, when u saw a banshee+factory or its unit+marine at ramp, it's 1-1-1 for sure from the T, getting ht with storm finished is the best way to fend it, but that time i didn't have the time and resource, so i took the risk, thankfully his reinforcement didn't come and i manage to win his 1-1-1, and owned him in a macro game. it's always feels great to beat 1-1-1 biggrin.gif

Added on September 13, 2011, 1:29 pmTruthfully, our Grandmasters level are the same as NA grandmasters, and both NA and SEA is far from KR level. The reason why NA top grandmasters are better than SEA is cause of the support they have been receiving, practices on KR/EU server, sponsorship, and lots more, making them a pro-gamer, while our grandmaster which are potentially to be at the same level takes Starcraft 2 as a game where they play when they're free cause the lack of support, sponsorship, and others.

Is that so? I have been watching so many pros replays and most of them are pretty boring IMO. Their matches usually decided within 1 or 2 big clashes. I don't want to be sound like a fanboy, but Ryperer Vs GenMarine are really interesting and intense. There are a couple of time I thought Ryperer is going to lose, but it turns out different.

Ryperer, hope that you are going to share most of your replays in the future. rclxms.gif

EDIT: Wow...The zergs that you playing against were crazy. So many creative strategies they pulled against you. Spine Rush, Nydus Network, Hatchery in your base and etc...And seriously, how the fck you won against Ultralisks, Zerglings and Infestors are really beyond me...Not once, but many times some more. rclxms.gif

What I'm saying is our grandmasters are the same level as them, it only differs at the top 25 of their grandmasters which they're more skillful.

Thx kding2, still, there's many room for me to improve, I wish to play on NA more often, but the delay really sucks, that's why I'm only rank 1 Master at NA with the name "Reaper", while many nGens and other pro clan members are already Grandmaster at NA, that proves of our level with them.

So, I guess it is normal for Msia to have a delay at NA server?

Ofcourse, our country internet ping to NA is pretty high, having 0.5-2sec delay is normal, it really slows the game down, making micro and macro harder than usual, but still we manage to get to master and some to grandmaster to NA, thats shows that NA players are at our level except their top 25, and some of them are actually KR/EU players playing on NA, which they're at higher level than us. and actually, our grandmaster league, about 20 of them are from other region, for example, slayers_dragon, Inka, Startale member, and many koreans, almost half of nGen is actually korean.

when foreigners' skills are far beyond average players' reach, it is improbable to learn from them as compared to learning from a local one

btw, ladder is still your best practice partner although u cant really discuss the strategy to to the players, combatex is an example for this

I see...at first I thought it was my crappy line's fault. I would love to play at NA server, but the delay prevented me to migrate to NA server. I guess that the Msian players still have the long way to catch up with nGen and other skillful pro-gamers, isn't it?

Well, don't think too highly of nGen players, cause some other clans like TA's, Alt, and many others in SEA including our own pRo clan and some clan-less individuals is as good as nGens. Yeah, we have a long way, we're a small community, but it's always possible for us to get to their level.

joining a clan doesnt mean anything really unless those members are willing to train with u, becuz beside that, u cannot really get anything out of the clan except they organize clan wars which they rarely do. at 1st i joined clan is just to find someone to train and talk about strategy, sadly it doesnt work well for me, and hardly do if ure in a korean clan such as ngen, they would talk korean all day u wouldnt even understand what they are saying, even for my clan, some of them do use english to chat, but rarely do they chat with me, train with them? try to get them to chat 1st at least, is it me or the koreans do behave this way?

I guess they're are superior in starcraft 2 so pride is what they have, but still some of them are polite, i know about the thing going on in clans, that's why i prefer clan-less for now, i know that SPR got lots of korean too. Ladder is the best way to practice, but sadly not many players in SEA, we keep seeing the same person yawn.gif
