Fire insurance premium should be based on some margin of ( 70-90% ) based on purchase price. It wont be 100% based on purchase price. Dunno how they work out on it but older houses received lower sum assured.

Mei is indeed very nice, 6 units per day is true, must call up ASAP to collect the keys, in the past 3 weeks, there are so many owners ring the credit department up to question about the interest charged, the auto generating system really give them plenty of inquiries to answer, pls be considerate, I hv not collected my key also. smile.gif

Total number of 3-stry = 267 units, bout 2 mths to hand over all those keys.
I know some owner really particular, demanding the house like perfect condition, sometimes the officer has to spend 4-5 hrs just to inspect the hse with the owner. I came across one Bkt Jalil SD owner brings his own tape to stick on "defect" spots, bout 170++, the whole house was full of stickers (other SD owners only complaint bout 5-15 defects).

Got those documents much earlier..( few months after signing) . ( then suggests you asked your lawyer why the delay)

For key collection, no documents needed. Just head to your house on the time and date agreed.

Collected my keys a few days ago.

There is a checklist for you to check on all the fittings& power points during the handover.

During defects, we have 24months period to lodge so time frame is fine.

As a start, check the walls for crack, doors, tiles for crack, windows....

As there is no water yet, unable to check for leaking( this would be my area of focus)

Welcome to KR ya

No water? you mean is not connected?

If this is the case, can still consider VP or CF issued?
