which OS r u using and what's the SP?

Try zooming in, particularly for Protoss and Terran units.

Hmm, i haven't encounter that kind of problem so far..

I have the same issue. The game just hang up after a mission and after a few minutes, i am booted out from Sc2. I speculate that it has something to do with my display card. Going to check it out later and you guys who have the same problem should check out yours' too.

TS(kianweic): if you're dedicated in updating the first post with solutions/links/sources etc on common problems, i would highly suggest that mods sticky/pin up this thread so they may refer here for technical Q&As/troubleshooting. Which would also ease up the FAQ thread on fuj's burden

Oh man is my problem with Starcraft not getting any attention

I have problems with the resolution..

My monitor is 1366x768,but StarCraft II only supports 1360x768,so if I put that resolution,there will be a black border on the left side of my screen,and a bit of the right side of the screen will be hidden,causing me to not able to see the supply quantities,and the Tip button properly..

I have tried changing the resolution through the Variables file located in My Documents,Starcraft II folder,but if I change the width to 1366,and I launch the game,the screen will be ok,but the words not very clear..

I think you are using a LCD HD Ready TV.
I had a problem similar to yours because my TV auto-adjust the screen according to height but not width or the other way around.

The solution: I chose 1280x720 resolution in SC2. And I used HDMI instead of PC-Input...
Not sure if that helps you or not.

Anyone got problem when loading the SC2?
Every time when i start up SC2 the loading page (the page showing Raynor) keep blinking until it go to the Battlenet logon page and ok already. However it do not give any big problem to me, just strange it keep blinking (when i test beta also same problem)

Guys, I kinda need help here,
After i install a fresh copy of starcraft 2, + patching latest update, then when I launch the game, it stuck on the main menu wallpaper without any main menu interface or battle.net login interface.
Anyone knows how to fix this??
Help appreciate.

I get major slowdowns when massing units, fighting team battles..etc


Using a XPS M1530 :

C2D T7700 2.40GHZ
4GB DDR2 (Can't recall the FSB)
8600M GT 256MB DDR3.


I mean, I'm using the suggested settings and other people using the same cards don't get such problems. :|


Also, randomly unable to hear/talk with the VoIP.

Hey if i have a friends US version can i use a SEA version to install the game and use a fiends US key to play?

no...US key can't play in the SEA server.
but after 60-days...SEA key will be able to play on US server.

No i ment the installation can i install with a SEA CD and play with a US key?

anyway, it's also a no...
the client (DVD) is also region based...
meaning if u install SEA client...u can only login using an account with SEA key...

there's some1 in this forum stated b4 that he bought a SEA key but downloaded the US version...
then he can't play due to that n had to redownload the SEA version...
