Not all Streamyx users seem to encounter throttling on AVI or MKV files on the filehosters.

Most of ppl i know, most are no VPN to SG server
rather than US server which result in high ping, SG server more stable but seem there few content blocked |

can someone please show some steps - how to do this vpn thing?
I am on Streamyx 1Mbps blockbuster pkg, using Mozilla Firefox 3.6.10 & uTorrent 2.0.4. I hope to try this vpn method, hope my torrents downloading can be faster. Thanks in advance |

Torrents: 5 - 8kb/s (10 - 20kb/s at around 1am to 4am)
Youtube/FLV videos: Same old. Didn't notice much of the legendary turtle speed. FTP: 0 to randomness of kb/s. Took me a week to download a local MMO client off their ftp. Took me longer to download avi/mkv off international ftps. DDL: Same old. Currently sitting through a high rate of request timeouts from my pings. At least I'm over with the whole 'PPP connection down' issues that plagued me for hours for the past few days. So, those who are only suffering from p2p throttling, consider yourself the target of my envy. I'm kidding. |

I tried to download Jolicloud from the bittorrent method and it's like 0kb/s.
So, torrent is totally blocked? Even for normal usage? I'm not downloading anything illegal and it's still blocked? |
