Can the 56U run both dual band (2.4 and 5 GHZ) at the same time? Then those wireless-N can still get N speed and wont get affected even if a G device get connected to it.

Guys, I'm planning to change my default Dlink router to either Asus RT-N13U or Asus RT-N16U. But I need a Firewall feature in the router that allows me to assign policies that block certain source IP address and Destination IP address according to port number. Can it be done? Is it just use DDWRT?
Sorry noob here... Thanks... This post has been edited by DreamChaser: Jan 31 2012, 02:15 PM |

i dont think 56u supports ddwrt as its using ralink chipset. ddwrt can only be used on atheros or broadcom.

Guys, anyone knows if the processor for RT-N13U can be overclocked using DD-WRT? I think it's a good budget router with decent RAM memory but if it could overclocked would be better for me for local LAN file transfers.
