can a family plus 30 tie with idata to purchase iphone 4?

guys....let say i contract ivalue 1 which is RM100 per month for 12 month....

so when i collect my phone , i have to pay up RM1690 (phone price) only and waiting the monthly bill which is RM100 ???

btw just wondering since i upgraded my plan will it be shown on maxis.com.my when i log in?

or will it appear in my next bill?

dun forget the rm200 prepayment. u'll be paying rm1890 when collecting. then rm60 for the first 5 months (cuz it's 100 - 200/5), and then rm100 for the next 19 months

Ever since i got the iPhone with ivalue, my unbilled amount is shootin up like crazy. Now it's been 3days since i got the phone and my unbilled amount is rm280.is thee something wrong? Pls help!!

a lot of forumers reporting something similar. apparently maxis messed up their billing. hopefully it is settled before ur bill arrives

many of my friends had the same complained about maxis hidden charge. i don't have an iphone yet, so i couldn't help much, but from what i heard, its either because maxis haven't activate your data plan thus you are using the internet by paying the normal rate of .5 sen/kb. you should really check with maxis before they make you pay those hidden charges

I paid it off first because the maxis customer service blocked my line and also they say I can only check in centers after the bill is issued. I also checked and it was confirmed that the ivalue plan was activated on 23sept 11.50pm prior to the launch. I hope this is ironed out. These charges are ridiculous.

Digi plan is low, but if you considered the iphone price compared to maxis, you are saving about the same amount.

i compared with maxis 1 year contract 32gb iphone.

maxis (ivalue 1)
iphone price = 1990
12 month rates = 1200
thus total = 3190

digi 88 (mind the 2 year contract but for the sake of comparison i'll just do 1 year plan)
iphone price =2490
12 month rates = 696
thus total = 3186

so with digi, for 1 year (and you have to serve 2 year contract), you save rm 4 compared to maxis 1 year contract.

not to mention, with maxis, you get 133min more airtime.


although you'd have to deal with maxis hidden charges which is kinda sad

Problem with ivalue plans is that they dont include free sms to other networks. This is why im thinking of changing to digi

seems like i'm not the only 1 who facing this problem ,
i'm already verify wif maxis CS im on the ivalue plan , and yesterday my unbilled was rm 175.62
call up 3 time and the last time was at night and the staff said will pass this case to billing dept and only monday can reach back to me ...
today morning i check my unbilled again and it show 244.86 with only 1 minutes of call to digi and 0.1mb data usage and 5min of call to 123 on yesterday nite (don tink calling 123 will be charge rite ? )

Don worry about the unbilled balance.
When the bill is finalized at the end of the month, u'll get rebate over the data usage.
Ever since I started using iValue plan I can't rely on the unbilled balance thingy.

Hmm u also facing this kind of problem before ???

what if the bill come at the end of the month and show the same as unbilled amount ???
still can check with maxis customer service at that time ? (either via phone or at maxis centre ) or cant do anything and need to pay tat amount ?

Maxis say can. I try cannot say it's not available for my ivalue plan. Sux

maxis is trying to squeeze our money from sms then. 200sms /m is definitely not enough
