So after i subscribed to iValue plan 1, the RM50 :50 is for calls & data charges...

So i'm sorry that i give out the wrong info last time, I really did call to maxis and ask ...

Now not only i have to control my data usage, i've to monitor my calls, sms & mms to other networks as well.... T.T (2 years contract, probably will terminate after a year)

From what i can gather from the maxis website, for iValue plans, principal and supp lines have free calls and sms. terms & conditions of family plan apply.
Meaning: Get up to 15 hours of free voice and video calls between family lines*. (Up to 10 lines)
Get up to 1500 free SMS between family lines. (Up to 10 lines)
Free Value Added Services. You get (CLIP) Caller Line Identification Presentation, Voicemail and Call Waiting.

*Family lines: Between Principal and Supplementary lines and vice versa.

Note the above is copied from maxis website.

So the supp line wont have data? If both my gf and me were to get Iphone 4 each, we each have to get iValue plans? Is there a way to get free calls/sms between us?

want to ask bout iData 1 package with no contract. thats like buying at RRP right.. the following month can terminate the iData 1 package?

i heard idata is different from mobile internet package... but both still can be use with iphone right?

You cannot shared the unused balance with your supp. line.. the free calls & sms between supp. line is still applied..

There is no sharing of monthly commitments between i-Value plans (principal line) and its supplementary lines. However, credit sharing between principal & supplementary lines is possible for customers who s ubscribe to the Value Plus plans (6 months contract)

i read the 1st page dy..but still got some confusion and doubts..can someone pls enligthen me..

Q1: if i get the iData plan, can the phjone make calls?...or is it STRICTLY for surfing only?...

Q2: if i get the idata plan, am i forced to take up a call plan?..

pls advise me of the above matters,

the idata is just an addon plan, for example if you have valueplus 50 and you + idata 50 becomes RM100 per month, calls and smses will be unde rthe valueplus while the data is under idata.

oic..so the idata plan cannot be a standalone plan?..

what about the ivalue?..it got data limit there too and callplan, so this can be a standalone rite?..just to confirm my understanding.

iValue 1 - Rm100 / month...
e.g. Free 200sms
Used less than 333min talktim, but If i send out 201 sms for the month will the bill come up to 100.10?
e.g. Free 333min
Used less than 200sms, but if I talk 334min will the bill come up to RM100.15?

50/50 means what?

333mins x 15cents = RM50
1gb + 200sms +20mms = RM50

you cant share the unused portion with supp line. i seldom use mms, so that amt is wasted. even on my most talkative months, i hardly hit 270mins.
if only there are more reasonable iData plans. RM50 for 500mb is shit!

After u used finished,then u need pay more.

Not worried on the calls cause is free to all networks, worried on the SMS & MMS to other networks... and also the Data usage...

Whenever I checked my unbilled amount just got a feeling to ask them change my bill cycle data again... haiz... Still got 20days to go before my next bills comes....

I'm so confused with these plans. So any benefits that you've get other than getting iphone at a cheap price with the ivalue? I've calculated to compare with value plus seems that not much of a difference or might be more costly than value plus.

So if I totally not fully utilizing its free data then its not worth it?

Guys... Need some help here... I signed for ivalue1 24month.... That means I have to pay rm400 for prepayment rite? Thn the rm400 will divide into 5 months and I only have to pay rm20 for 5 months right? But this morning, my bill had arrived and i was shocked to see they charged me rm51.51!! 1stly, I registered the ivalue on 6th of oct and don't even reach 1mth yet... 2ndly,this is a new registered number and shouldn't have uncleared fees there....3rdly, I used only 150 free SMS and 250mins talk time and 20MB of 3G and 1 free MMS( ALL TO MAXIS SOMMORE)..... Rm5 for tax, rm5 for the bill send to my home, and rm20 for the ivalue..... The extra rm21.51 for???

Look at the details at page 2, 3, 4, etc. of the bill. Anything out of ordinary from your calculation ?
