A question. How many lines can a house or apartment have? Is Unifi a different thing altogether and not using the streamyx line?

Situation: TM is going to install Unifi at my condo in PV10 Setapak.
Question: How long does it take to complete it? |

yes its different thing altogether as it uses fibre cable not the old telephone copper cable.
how many lines, u mean telephone line? as much as the amount of port available on the telephone box outside ur house. This post has been edited by andydemarco: Jul 27 2010, 07:21 PM |

QUOTE(GreenSamurai @ Jul 27 2010, 06:51 PM) Unifi for landed houses will employ Fiber to the Home (FTTH) technology, so TM will lay and pull a fiber optic cable to your house.Unifi for condo / apartment buildings will be using VDSL2 technology and this will ride on the existing copper line that your apartment/condo/building has. This is also in the Unifi brochure, pasted conveniently on the 1st page of this topic. |

Which means for apartments I can only have one connection at a time and not say, 1 streamyx and 1 unifi? Or is that possible? Because I am going to rent a room in KL and don't really want to share the same connection with my housemates hahaUnifi for condo / apartment buildings will be using VDSL2 technology and this will ride on the existing copper line that your apartment/condo/building has.
