QUOTE(gash77 @ Aug 16 2010, 12:25 PM) update after 6 months usage: sounds convincing. may i know is it 2.0 or 1.6?1)Fuel consumption: daily driving mixed h-way and normal start stop traffic: 9.0l per 100km (average). 2)Highway only: 7.0l per 100km (average speed of 115km, anything above 120km/hr will make fuel consumption suffer! Interior: 1)Seat yik yik sound-solved by not putting the height of the seat too high. Especially for big sized people like me (6ft and 100kg) 2)door buzzing during high bass music-adjust the seat belt limiter lower and issue solved 3) no other sounds at the moment 4)sound system no issue. USB,IPod and others all working very well. External paint still ok. no bubbling or anything, except that the paint job a little thin. nothing to complain for the price paid. Spare parts may be a bit costly. tires getting a little loud but that is due to daily wear and tear. my other cars also same problem. Nothing to complaint about After Sales support: Compared to Nissan and Honda the support is the same or better. Using NSS to service car. No major issues so far. OVERALL: Very satisfied. Exceeded expectations. |

HI all,
I was trying to purchase a Forte. For some reason i think KIA has been hiring some very bad sales. I am from Penang, when i visited first showroom at Crystal pt, the sales gives me a feeling of suspicious that he tried to get us to put deposit whatever it takes. My wife do not like it so we went to the second one at Greenlane. Lagi teruk the sales fist leaves me and my wife alone under the hot sun alone to serve another guy that comes in later than us. And when i ask him why does the wheel (actually its the metal disc directly expose beneath rim, where normally break pad press on top, i'm no expert in cars dunno what that calls) appears rusty? He looks at me and say right to my face "you are not a car buyer, everyone knows rusty surface is good car". ??!! i walk away directly. In short, i like the car, but i really dislike the sales. They fail even as a simple information giver, whatmore they "suan" the customer. The Honda sales are professional, even Perodua sales are much better. |

QUOTE(izputra @ Aug 16 2010, 08:59 AM) I'm thinking the same like u. To change to 16" for better comfort (& perhaps better FC). I've been driven by KFC in his car (with 16" rims), all i can say that it is much better in term of comfort without sacrificing much on the car's look. I will seriously looking forward to replace my 17" rims to 16" after the current tyres worn out. But as far as 16" rims with 5 holes is concern, it is quite limited in design i have to say. Most of 5-holes-rim are 17" & above. Tht's why I was looking to downgrade to 16". More comfort w/o sacrificing the looks. Anyone wanna lend me a hand here...recommend me shops which gv good trade-in value for the stocks as well as reasonable price for new 16" + donuts. PM me name, address & tel no. Err....look for who as well. Many thanks. My location...Ampang, KL. Klang Valley shop would be fine. |

Hey guys, just got my car last Friday, but yesterday I realized that the anti glare function on my rear view mirror has stopped functioning. How do I go about this? Just bring it to an SC? or do I have to make prior contact to anyone like my SA first? Advice needed. Thanks in advanced for replies!
