The leather seat is hard, compare to fully CBU 1st batch 2.0 leather seat...which is very comfy

Nowadays, it is quite easy to spot a Forte here in KL. At my workplace also got at least 5-6 Forte. Most of them just newly registered. This proves that the Forte are quite high in demand. & I presume all of the newly registered Forte now are the 1.6 one coz when i went to NazaKia HQ showroom last week, one of the staff there said that next batch of 2.0 will only be available (most probably) by September. If this is true, pity to those who buy & wait for the 2.0 now. He also said that price revision (likely to increase) already been discussed in their internal meeting for the next batch of Forte. Certainly the increase in price for Forte will do good to the current owners but at some point it also have the negative impact in the long run (i.e. spare parts price)

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the pain of waiting...its unbearable.. i see forte every now and then..ahhhh i want my forte!!!!

update after 6 months usage:

1)Fuel consumption: daily driving mixed h-way and normal start stop traffic: 9.0l per 100km (average).

2)Highway only: 7.0l per 100km (average speed of 115km, anything above 120km/hr will make fuel consumption suffer!

Interior:

1)Seat yik yik sound-solved by not putting the height of the seat too high. Especially for big sized people like me (6ft and 100kg)
2)door buzzing during high bass music-adjust the seat belt limiter lower and issue solved
3) no other sounds at the moment
4)sound system no issue. USB,IPod and others all working very well.

External

paint still ok. no bubbling or anything, except that the paint job a little thin. nothing to complain for the price paid.

Spare parts may be a bit costly.

tires getting a little loud but that is due to daily wear and tear. my other cars also same problem. Nothing to complaint about

After Sales support:

Compared to Nissan and Honda the support is the same or better.

Using NSS to service car. No major issues so far.

OVERALL:

Very satisfied. Exceeded expectations.

Dear epo, it's true the steering is tight at high speed, but what i meant is any small degree of turning/ changing will make me feel the car is swinging. Even the sa also felt it, i did asked him whether this is normal for EMPS steering suppose to have, but think he don't know. This is dangerous when cruising on highway. This is overly-sensitive as compared to my old sentra. In fact, i'm very much like this car but worry this is a norm to this forte which can't rectify/ adjust by SC through ECU setting.

I have asked 2 sa from different location, one promised that he can get the 2.0sx within 2-3 weeks upon approving of bank loan. He said that this is because they are platinum dealer so have the priority. The other dealer (non-platinum) said need to wait 2-3 months. Anyone pls give some advice/ opinion/ experience on these matters.
