2.0SX vs 1.6SX vs 1.6ex?

i'm still trying to understand and find out why the majority of the buyers went for the 1.6LSX. i understand it is value for money, push start button, ECS, and many more (which i prefer as well) but what about tyre noise and slower acceleration? perhaps slightly higher fuel consumption can still be accepted but what about stiffer ride? is it practical to drive with 215/45R17 given the terrible roads that we have in malaysia? if we change to better tyre like michelin, does the tyre noise be reduced significantly? what about the ride with still low profile tyre? still stiff?

the question is, "is comfort being compromised for features, look (17inch rim), and cornering ability"?

when the market is filled with 1.6SX, i believe the resale value for the SX will be much better than the EX. is this generally true for used car market? demand for higher spec. exceeds lower spec.?

Appreciate your informative comments and explanations  , in particular from sifu izputra.    Now I understand why my EX's FC appears somewhat higher than expected, especially when it speeds.

Contrary to izputra's analysis, a SC manager asserted to me that BK improves FC, which I'd doubt, but lack the technical knowledge to question him then.

Also i did not realise fully syn oil does improves FC..  Used mineral oil for 1st service because i was told that for new car better get oil change more frequent, thus better use mineral oil in the 1st and 2nd service... then switch to fully syn subsequently.  Anyway, will follow your advice in my next 2nd service: use fully syn oil. Thank you again. 

There should not have such law that we can't change our car emblem. I saw some proton car change their car to Mitshubishi and some from peroduo to daihatsu......that police must be short of "pocket money".......

If there is such rule that we need to use back the "naza" logo, I think Forte sell will drop more than 30%......

im wondering can we bring our own engine oil during service, since they only use petronas syntium for my 1k service?

Damn..how i wish our forte comes with option for sunroof. I dont mind paying extra 3k for it. If this news is true, those 32 units are extremely a rare species.

what color is the special edition?

just to ask, how come 1.6sx version nvr come wif motor driven power steering however it got Electrical stability control system?

Maybe it's for safety purpose, so that idiots won't put their heads out of the window

yes its an old safety feature for children. My old Peugeot like that one

Does this apply to back windows only or Driver windows as well?
