HI all,
I was trying to purchase a Forte. For some reason i think KIA has been hiring some very bad sales. I am from Penang, when i visited first showroom at Crystal pt, the sales gives me a feeling of suspicious that he tried to get us to put deposit whatever it takes. My wife do not like it so we went to the second one at Greenlane. Lagi teruk the sales fist leaves me and my wife alone under the hot sun alone to serve another guy that comes in later than us. And when i ask him why does the wheel (actually its the metal disc directly expose beneath rim, where normally break pad press on top, i'm no expert in cars dunno what that calls) appears rusty? He looks at me and say right to my face "you are not a car buyer, everyone knows rusty surface is good car". ??!! i walk away directly.
In short, i like the car, but i really dislike the sales. They fail even as a simple information giver, whatmore they "suan" the customer. The Honda sales are professional, even Perodua sales are much better.

too much rite?? maybe they all sombong oredi now that for once they have this hot selling model...it's really misopportunity on their part..their boss neber give out training ka? one wonders.
anyway not all kia sales ppl like that too bad it happened to you my experience not that all bad when i was shopping around for the car..try out some other place if not too much of a problem.
Actually I think it's a subjective issue... my 2 sen lah, but I reckon it really depends on the person that's serving you. I got mine from the Naza branch in Ampang and the guy was pretty good in terms of service. I was harassing him a fair bit also after my loan was approved, etc. coz the delivery of the 2.0 took quite long. He was very good at keeping me up to date on any development. All in all, I felt that he did ok by me lah.
In terms of professionalism of other brand punya SA... I reckon you've not met those smooth characters who read out from a script and start taking you for a ride with BS (Go read my signature

) I normally buat bodoh jer... and then nod and go "Hmmm...." when I'm being fed BS....
The key here is, don't harap these SAs to give you everything. It's much easier to prepare yourself by doing some research on the car that you want. You also have forums and reviews online to scour through. Once you've done some homework, then you won't be at the mercy of sales people... (Well, at least not completely at their mercy loh...)
