I am really interested in the Desire HD but I have a feeling I won't be able to afford it unless it's subsidised like the Legend...

i guess it will hv RRP of RM2399, as it cannot be higher than iphone4 in order to compete.

The HTC Desire was the previous flagship. The Desire Z and the HD is the new flagship but the HD is in its own class since its 4.3 inch. My guess the RRP would be 2499 i guess.. For Desire Z, it might be 2299 since the pricing is damn close to HTC Desire. The Desire Z pricing will eventually go lower to 2199 but that is when htc Desire itself reduced ori set pricing to 1900 maybe..

i guess they surely already know about the phone.. maybe its under consideration.. surely they have known since HTC is quite a big brand already now.. and the 15th Sept launch in london created quite a hype already

HTC Desire HD is the European/Asia phone for HTC Evo 4G?

Sort of, it has slightly updated hardware compared to the EVO 4G but no kickstand, no hdmi and no front cam

i saw an article somewhere saying that DHD is for european country n Evo 4G for america. LOL. nah.. Hope it will come by this week in the UK. got to play around with it and read some review about the battery life before buying.

it is the Evo 4G for euro and asia but its not identical since Evo 4G is tailor made for Sprint Network

i guess HTC is not going to patent that bootup.. they surely are not like apple which tends to patent every single of their design aka "technology" .. lol

the htc Desire itself is priced 2199 on initial RRP.. htc phones are not priced high anymore since desire i guess cuz they have managed to control their manufacturing and meeting up with demands which mantains a bearable price range.. even if you converted from unlocked overseas price with tax.. it would reach around 2200 for desire HD.. so the possibility of it being under 2500 is there for sure

i think its safe to say that the Desire HD is placed on the same tier as the HTC HD2. Its has similar specifications, and is considered to be the flagship device of their respective OS. Just like how Desire Z should be the Android version of the Touch Pro 2.

When HTC HD2 was launched, it was RM 2,899. So unless HTC is gonna make a higher end android phones, its possible that the DHD will be priced around the HD2 price. This is just my speculation la

i would say DHD price will be around the same with HD2 or maybe lower because HD2 using WM6.5 which need to pay for the license
