When is the asian launch in taiwan btw? 6th or 7th? Surely that time we will know confirm or not SLCD or just LCD

wah rm2900??!! too high dude. UK selling only GBP 470 = rm2350 (that also i assume 1GBP = RM 5 and we will pay the 17.5% tax). i think u overshot la.

But if the phone is >RM2500 i will not bother to look back and just give the DHD a pass. RM2400 also i will give it a long hard look.otherwise i just beli from UK la... claim the 17.5% tax refund only pay GBP 390 ie <rm2000

I thought is SLCD? HTC rep confirm this already. i saw it in android forum.

back then the GPB exchange rate was about 5.4-5.6? It'll put it around 2900+ ish.
It really depends on how HTC plans to position the DHD. the HD2 was a super top of the line phone. Highest for all WM devices, so it has a super high end price tag .

The DHD on the other hand, remains to be seen. Hardware wise, its still lower than the SGS, so perhaps, PERHAPS, they wont price it above the SGS. Here's to crossing my fingers

den we should know by tomorrow the launch date of DHD in Msia as well as the screen type by tomolo kua..

kinda worry about it's battery,only 1230mHA which is consider very low for this kind of high end phone,anyway upgrade the battery to 1500mHA battery like samsung galaxy S?? BTW, cant wait it launch it malaysia and maxis come out a plan with it =)

but now the DHD is using the new 45nm Snapdragon, maybe it can work well on it's battery? perhaps. O.o

1300mHA battery work fine on htc desire,can last 1 day although u r heavy user,so let hope the new snapdragon can make the htc desire HD 1230mHA work as well as 1300mHA battery on htc desire =)

well if htc say will come to malaysia october 15th then i dont think it will release specifically for a carrier.. but carrier may have contract with them.. who knows

you see before that iphone4 came out, the thread ady have v2 or v3 and everyone keep discussing, for DHD only got us a few small mice discussing and exciting here of course maxis etc will pay more attention on iphone lol.

i really do hope that there will be a higher capacity 3rd party battery available with the same size.. just wishful thinking.. there is such for HTC Evo 4G and Droid Incredible with is 1600mAh with still the same size
