These are just rumors. Nothing is confirmed yet. We dont even know the actual ETA for Gingerbread and bear in mind, being an HTC phone, it will be SenseUI+Gingerbread. HTC havent even completed with their SenseUI+FroYo. So take the speculation about the hardware and software specs with a pinch of salt.
The only thing that's inevitable is there will be a GSM EVO.
but bear in mind that HTC MIGHT drop sense UI for the gingerbread phone because google mentioned that UI on gingerbread is beautiful enough and no need other skin on top of vanilla android.. so depends on google and htc whether they want to put another skin or not
ya i know,what i was trying to say is UI on gingerbread MAYBE good than enough and doesnt need any other UI on top of nicely done vanilla UI.. and that just MAYBE or MIGHT(like previous post that i stated) and of course there are many launchers out there can replace vanilla UI but who knows vanilla UI is better than others?user got a choice to choose which UI but also depends its worth or not...i guess u wont choose a launcher that worst than vanilla UI itself right?
and if i remember correctly,Google said there is no need put manufacturers UI like HTC Sense,etc on top of gingerbread coz its already good enough..so i just say depends whether HTC want to put or not(well,is their signature UI after all)

Hopefully at some point they will think a way to improve the speed on getting gingerbread instead of producing new phones with better hardware day by day, it makes people like me feel outdated man
why would u think of gingerbread when it doesnt make any appearance for now? even htc only released froyo last week..
i did notice that it has the mid camera shape.. thanks to engadget for making it such clear.. true thats the desire HD.. dunno wuts the name yet isnt it? its still not confirmed.. naming as desire HD is quite lame.. haha.. what happened to the name htc scorpion btw? that phone was previously rumored to have the dual core scorpion chip..

once it is available in europe, surely in 2 weeks AP company will be bringing it in.. only original SIS sets have to wait especially due to maxis or other telco exclusivity stuffs.. .. They are making this phone their market phone for christmas this yr i guess..
i dont mind and love to import from UK/europe if i still at australia here(no need tax,get update first,etc)
I used to have a 4 inch TFT screen PDA and trust me... it'll only fit your back pocket. how are you guys gonna fit 4.3 inch in your pockets ?
seriously i still wondering why people will put the phone at back pocket and it might crack the screen when trying to sit down??
anyway 4.3inch definitely my ideal screen size for smartphone and since my SGS can fit into my front pocket(jeans,etc) then i dont see any reason why 4.3" cannot is just personal preference..if you cant fit it doesnt means others also same

if u look at Clove website(UK),it available for pre-order at 420pounds and clove is 1 of the cheapest online retail for mobile phones(i got my SGS from there too) but of coz u need to may tax if u buy from malaysia... i bought SGS from UK and ship over to australia without any tax/VAT
