Neal: Carragher could manage Reds
Club legend Phil Neal believes defender Jamie Carragher has what it takes to become a future Liverpool manager.
59-year old Neal spent 11-years at Anfield, making 459 league appearances and winning eight league titles as well as four European Cups.
He also achieved success as a manager of Bolton, Coventry City, Cardiff City and Manchester City, and has urged new Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson to get current Reds hero Jamie Carragher to follow the same path.
"He should think about his coaching badges," Neal told The Sun.
"I'd like Jamie to be part of the management under Roy Hodgson. He's Liverpool through and through."
Carragher, 32, has spent his entire career at Liverpool, making 435 appearances and playing a crucial role in the club's 2005 Champions League win.

The agent of Royston Drenthe has revealed that the Facebook account claiming the player's imminent move to Liverpool is fake.
The Real Madrid wing-back supposedly declared on his Facebook account that he is set to leave the Bernabeu for a move to Anfield.
But Spanish newspaper Marca have now revealed that the Facebook profile does not belong to the player himself and is a hoax.
Sources close to Drenthe have also claimed he has deleted his Facebook account and that the hoax account has been set up by an imposter originating from outside Netherlands.
Now the player's agent has confirmed that the account is indeed fake and will be taking legal action on the hoaxer behind it.
He also added that Drenthe will be staying at Madrid next season.
Speaking to BBC Sport, he said: "Royston does not have a Facebook page, a Twitter page or a MySpace page. We will be taking legal action against the person who set up this false Royston Drenthe account.
"Royston is definitely staying at Real Madrid. He is happy there, he has spoken to the club directors and is looking forward to the new season at the Bernabeu."
Despite the hoax behind speculation linking the former Netherlands under-21 star to Liverpool, the club's interest in the player is real, with Italian sides Fiorentina, Lazio and Juventus also keen in prying him from the Bernabeu.
