a) play funny and entertaining games like angry birds or
b) customize ur phone by chge icons, colors, trying different settings, etc?

if u choose (b), it's very clear dat u r a nerd.

tech geek i thought nor nerd haha... depends on individual preference, as i found ppl tends to say they bought the nicest things for themselves even though it is not...

i think the main purpose to get such these phone is mainly the cost of the things... coz android give you more freeware than apple, that is the main concern in malaysia coz ppl not willing to pay a few ringgit for the application and games they wanted smile.gif

I am having the same problem too to choose btw iphone 3gs or HTC Desire/Legend!

Few years ago i chose Nokia symbian phone over Sony simply because i can install apps into the nokia phone. And i was happy with it and i did play with it for a couple of weeks or months.

However, the case is, i don really use the apps or install any new app over the past 2 years anymore.

I suppose playing funny and entertaining games like angry birds does indeed sound like a very macho thing to do.

if you're a), you're a kiddy nerd. If you want to game, go get a DS or PSP.

i lost respect to Apple since the handling of the antennae issue, was initially waiting for iphone 4, but then this issue came out

hence, i bought a Desire. For my app store fix, i'll stick with my 3rd gen ipod touch

it's a statement that suprised me. why wld sumbody need a phone to show off his macho-ness?
anyway, let's not go out of topic.

iphone is for users who have better thgs to do in their life other than spending it customizing de fone, changing the colors, icons, etc.

for nerds who want to do all that, thr's android.

it's all abt choices of what u r.

i agree with you completely.

i love angry birds, and recently i play crazy cows, all serious biz, love iphone x10000 love.

customization is waste of time.

and the antenna problem has been fixed thru software patch, now signal strength is more accurate, nothing to do with the antenna.

I've used an iphone for a year and I think it's a really great phone. You buy a smartphone because you want to do few other things with it not just for calls or messaging. If we compare both android and iphone, you can basically do the same thing, surfing, emails, watch movies etc so in the end it's just a matter of choice. It's good to have choices so that we can pick the right one according to our preferences.

If I were to choose between an android and an iphone, I would have to consider the hardware features and price of both of them. It's easy for iphone because you only have 1 or 2 options only but for android, you have to do quite some readings.

You cannot simply say android or iphone is better, my understanding on this is if you think android is a better choice, that doesn't mean it's the same case with other people. What people wants is a phone that can do things that they want, if it manages to do it then people will be happy. If not then just get a different phone, and I don't think there is a phone that can do everything, keep in mind that everyone has a different definition on 'everything'

Don't forget about those iphone imitations too. If you never use an iphone before there is a high chance for you to get conned.

all smartphones also have issues wt the connectivity. it's only nerds with nothing else better to do in their own lifes, will continue to be so stressed out and make a mountain out of a mold hill.

apple is for ppl who appreciates style and simplicity. iphone users have better things to do in their life, and dun spend more than necessary time to 'customize' or tinker arnd wt a fone.
while for android fones, is mainly for geeks and nerds who gets a high from endless tweaking and trying to be different juz for the sake of being different. in other words, pathetic.

From your point of view, i can see you as a irrational iphone user.

Ever see any other phone company giving out 'rubber bands' to cover up their connectivity issue? hmm.gif On a serious note, each phone serves it's purpose, some prefer the iphone, some prefer Android. Such is life, u can't just make a silly assumption like u did above. Androids are for nerds and iPhone are just for simple minded fools? That's just...... well i'm lost for words. shakehead.gif
