a) play funny and entertaining games like angry birds or
b) customize ur phone by chge icons, colors, trying different settings, etc?

if u choose (b), it's very clear dat u r a nerd.
*
what about c) worrying about whether they're holding their phones the RIGHT WAY.. shud i say this as pathetic?

all smartphones also have issues wt the connectivity. it's only nerds with nothing else better to do in their own lifes, will continue to be so stressed out and make a mountain out of a mold hill.

Someone pasted article about NexusOne being discontinued and tried to say Android failed? From where they are coming from, I can clearly see the insecurity. Let's say Apple didn't continue on Iphone, it will just die.

Here's the difference in Android. You see different manufacturers coming out with varying specs and different pricing that can cater to nearly all income groups. You can get a 1K Android or a 3K Android, up to you.

Nexus One was Google's flagship product two years ago (iirc) to signal the intent of Google's support towards it's Android platform to boost market confidence. Back then in the time where Android was still in it's early stages and only hardcore fans following. It's no longer the case now. Acceptance for Android grew and there are tons of Android phones to chose from now.
*
Actually the Nexus One started selling in January 2010.. And it's not discontinued at all.. Google just decided to shut down it's online store.. the Nexus One will continue to be around smile.gif

And I agree that Android has grown to such proportion that even without the Nexus One, it will still continue to grow as there are so many excellent Android devices in the market now..

dat's the whole point. android can be tweaked, which drives the geeks and nerds crazy with estacy. but normal ppl won't be bothered.

normal ppl use the phone for easy, beauty.

even until now, no body and not even the android nerds can get the touch keyboard perfectly right like apple does.
there is a app for every need possible.

so if u wanna get touchphone, makes no sense to get anythg other than iphone right?
*
i also have no problem using the android stock keyboard.. i feel it's better than iphone one as the iphone keys are a little smaller..

haha.. and are you joining the android world now? i just saw u posting in this thread: rolleyes.gif

let's go back to the beginning of the question to conclude the answer.

why shld i switch from iphone to HTC (Android)?

let's define htc as legend, or desire
u r a geek or nerd who
- loves to tweaking, customize ur phone, chge the theme, colors, fonts, etc.
- enjoys showing off de customized fone interface to ur frens n relatives.
- always carry arnd a spare charger
- loves to wear baggy pants wink.gif
*
Oh great.. so now it's personal attack already?

by the way, do you even know what android is or what it can do besides "tweaking, customize ur phone, chge the theme, colors, fonts, etc."

plz read carefully.
i'm talking abt legend or desire.

abt ur 3 days usage, firstly using desire or legend?
secondly, i'm sure u wld've downloaded some nifty program for it. but as u know, de average user doesn't do that and cldn't be bothered.
that's y iphone with its superior battery life is de better choice if u dun want to carry the charger along.
*
So what you're saying is: the average user won't be bother to download any apps/games to their phone right? then no need to get iphone or android la.. just a plain old nokia will do.. since those old phones are more capable (bolded on purpose) of performing "what a phone should do: calls/sms".. i guess that's what the general "average" people use anyway..

unfortunately, my partner uses and loves the iphone while i simply adore the cutie lil green robot.
bcoz we do have differences doesn't mean that we kenot enjoying each other's love.
even though desire makes me feel so sexy, unfortunately, my desire is always needing to charge battery and it's quite frustrating.
whenever i need to heart-to-heart chatting, i always need to plug my phone into a charger (limitsi me from rolling over and over in my bed while chit-chat)
but his iphone battery is much more stronger and powerful.
*
hi kentang, i tot u adore the iphone so much? y change to desire now ah?

Before this Mr Kentang was saying google's ability to remotely remove any app from an Android phone is dangerous.. what about this now?

QUOTE
iPhone set to get an iKill switch

APPLE is developing a "kill switch" for hacked iPhones that could wipe the handset and render it useless.

The new system would target people who hack or "jailbreak" iPhones so they can use unauthorised apps, and those who unlock it from a phone carrier, remove its SIM card or move it "a predetermined distance" from its linked computer.

Apple's new iPhone-killing system was revealed in a patent filed in February and made public this week.

The patent application also outlined plans to use the GPS signals on handsets to track the location of the so-called jailbreakers.

The system could also be applied to the company's iPod Touch and iPad.
