Untick the "Hide extension for known file types". Now you should be able to see the real extension and rename it.

actually on the matter of pumping, it depends on your viewpoint. u can look at it as 'unfair' or 'fair' but the truth is this is an option in the game that can be done. the same goes for abusing bugs in the game. are you going to say that hitting buildings with the silencer's infernal is illegal? It's also a bug what. Same as pumping sven/bones or whatever, because this is all part of the game. If you use a 3rd party maphack prog, then that's wrong but ppl who pump aren't cheating, they're just doing what the game let's them do.

Same thing in competitions. If no rule says you cannot pump or "pass items to another hero", then it's anyone's game to do that. There is nothing to do with Honor here. It's subjective.

Are you going to say gangbanging is dishonorable? It's 5 ppl vs 1 person. Dishonorable? Or just something that you can do in the game.

The problem is alot of ppl think wow this is so abusable, that's cheating. The guy is making use of an exploit! Ban him. But hello? That's not his fault. Blame the developer for not fixing that bug/exploit. Blame the organizers for willing to choose a buggy game for their tournament. Blame yourselves for stickin with a buggy version like 5.84.

Yes, the fact is nobody is perfect. Bugs will happen, but that's up to anyone's discretion how to abuse them. If a tournament chose a game, and someone discovered an exploit in the game and use it to win the tournament, do we discredit him of the win? The fact is, he did win by way of the exploit. If you don't want that to happen, you should get the exploit fixed in the first place.

So the next time someone pumps a medusa and the rest of the team mantas her, dun call those people dishonorable or cheating. It's part of the game. If you want to call anyone names, call yourself a mule for sticking with 5.84 when there are so many more balanced and better verions out there already.

Yukito, for SA usually i go for a band, and then sange+yasha as my first items. the sange is good for a healthboost so u can tahan midgame when everyone gets their maelstorms and such. if you farmed well, u can get your diffusal here too. if not, get it by late game and upgrade it into a manta + the s+y into a s&y. don't bother with a butterfly unless you've done very good early game. ur better off getting a hyperstone after that so you can keep your maim+smokescreen at a maximum potential. a hybrid strat is get guinsoo's instead of diffusal so you can smoke+backstab+sheep for more backstabbing, chase a little, blink strike and smoke again. of course..this applies for solo hero killing only. teamgames just stick with the manta

Well I tried S+Y but I don't think it was really helpful Maybe I should go for sange alone then only get diffusal. Really need to do a lot of experimenting.

And ya spirit breaker is crazy. I backstabbed people quite a few times and they were like WTF I was thinking sange for a little health and damage boost since it is on the cheap side. Can't really think of any item build for him. Was considering dagon but then his mp is really low...... Hyperstone and satanic maybe?

if u can afford to buy hyperstone and santanic why don't you try butterfly??? the extra agi really help u to be a hero killer at late game... backstab skill is ALL ABOUT HERO AGILITY multiply damage .
sommore SA is AGI based hero... so the extra agi not only add your backstab damage but also add your based damage too

Cause eaglehorn too expensive and too high to work up, too. But why would you get butterfly for spirit breaker? I was thinking of satanic + hyperstone because he is on the low hp side, leaching and +str from satanic helps significantly. Hyperstone makes your Mighty Bash comes out more often

the thing i don't like about pumping is because if one team pumps, the other team doesn't stand a chance unless they pump too.....unless they want 3~5 ppl sticking around chasing after 1 guy leaving the others free (which also leads to defeat)
such a diverse game with countless strategies suddenly becomes a game with only path to take, which is to pump a hero
In tourneys i guess i understand la....maybe because of the prize money (which i totally forgot about >_<) so they wanna win and they resort to pumping , mantas and anything that would help them win.
That's why i think a tourney with pumping banned will see many different and perhaps new strategies emerging, making it more competitive

i'm not flaming pumpers and manta, i'm just giving my opinion. I'm afraid cheese gonna gimme long lecture >_<. i'd rather flame leavers and afkers any day

Yeah, totally agree with YuuYuu As you can see, there are only several heroes can work efficiently after being pumped. So the other heroes are just compliments or cash generators to pump. I would rather involve in a 5v5 chaos fight, hahaha... where everyone's role is "quite" equally distributed.

anyways, here's the replay of how the bone pwned sven (and everyone else) with the help of pumping and timestop. IMO, the bone player was very much better than the sven player, plus, the Monash team had really good teamwork. Taylors was pretty much pwned from start to finish.
