QUOTE(unknown @ Dec 6 2013, 12:34 AM) My Condo. start have this problem last few days, The fluorescent bulb at toilet and kitchen start flickering, and bulb at room and living room is good and no flickering. is this the energy saving lights? seems very serious...I try change the bulb, still flickering. Anyone have experience this and please share with me. The bulk flickering like the video below better consult electrician or your wiring man who done the wiring for your house... |

Did you install any dimmer? a wrong range of dimmer could cause flickering.
If there is absence of dimmer, then check the choke/ballast. if there isn't. ask your electrician to check the wiring whether correct a not. just my 2 cents. |

I saw these kind of light bulbs in the restaurant Dish a year or two ago. Very nice. Other than the light bulbs, does anyone know where I can get light designs using this kind of bulbs?

hi guys, I looking to change my downlight from conventional to LED...
I have 23 nos of 6" square downlights for my house went to check in Puchong, the shops have alot different product which frm RM 2x all the way to RM 1xx... the salesman told me their price is expensive because of the quality which the back of the LED is metal (not plastic) good for heat disperse.... got warranty, 1 on 1 exchange bla bla bla 1. Any sifu can recommend where can I get a good LED and what is the price range? 2. Should I really need to change all area or specific area to LED downlight? 3. What is the installation cost per downlight point? This post has been edited by kakashi...: Feb 25 2014, 05:03 PM |

Hi,
I put down a deposit to secure the promotion price, but ended up frustrated and disappointed. This company is located in Sri Damansara. First time went there to confirm, the salesman told me the items are yet to be shipped from China and promised it will be here by December 2013. Second time around Dec, I went there again to confirm and the salesman told me they have issues with the manufacturer in China, hence there will be no items coming in. I ended up taking those available LED downlights to offset my deposit and warned them I will complain to all event management firms that organize HOMEDEC, Perfect living etc to ban/blacklist their company from participating into such events. Anyone has the same issue with mine, please voice out. Tq QUOTE(kenlimfornication @ Oct 28 2013, 02:47 PM) hi guys, there was a big booth by YET LED and saw their promotion as below. I've put down a small deposit to lock the prices. I want to check if this brand is ok because the price is quite cheap. If not, I would maybe just buy minimal amount to place at my entrance or foyer only. Their promotion price was: 12W 6' at RM29 7W 4' at RM19 Normal price is about RM45 - 49 for the 12W. Do you think the promo price is okay before I confirm a large qty? |

QUOTE(keiichicol @ Mar 1 2014, 12:17 PM) Hi, Hi, indeed I have the same experience. I went end Nov but the saleperson in charge said the item wasn't shipped and will be available at a certain date (i forgot). I was raging and asked what is the solution he can give me and most of it are unacceptable.I put down a deposit to secure the promotion price, but ended up frustrated and disappointed. Yes, they are not fully trustable at the fair but at the very least he gave me a solution. This post has been edited by kenlimfornication: Mar 2 2014, 11:15 PM |

Hi guys,
I'm planning to buy 28 units basic fluorescent light (due to low initial capital) for my house that is going to be rented out soon. May i know rough estimation how much will it cost me for the unit of light and its installation fee? One shop quote me RM15+RM18 for installation and lighting unit. Can you recommend any shop for my unit which is located in Saujana Putra? This post has been edited by hullabaloo_bard: Mar 3 2014, 11:38 AM |

Hello,
I'd like to check if 4" downlight (white light) is sufficient for bedrooms on the first floor as I am still deciding between 4" and 6" downlights. Also with plaster ceiling, how low can I go for the downlights as I plan to "overlay" existing ceiling to save cost as advised? |
