you can buy iphone without contract now it seems. just need buy the phone outright with the normal RRP and activate the rm68 internet package.

hi, may i ask how to control our talking time & sms ..
i mean is there anywhere to check our "unbilled $$" from time to time?? to avoid exceeding my package??

ohh just voice out my problem on d 1st day i registered for iphone 3gs rm60 package (for ur guy perusal) :-
i changed from Normal Digi registered line to Iphone RM60 package on sunday (1-2pm). So d customer service guy told me i need to wait for 1-2 days to get a new acc (to able to use back d same digi number)
but by 5pm, got d call from them, stated my new acc is ready.
So i immediately did d paperwork & got d iphone & line.

After 2 weeks..got my old & new acc billing.. almost shock seeing my Old acc show RM160 internet charges. d time & date is d exact time after i got my iphone. (roughly 1 hr i did try to online & check some web..but totally no downloading)
QUestion d customer service via phone..then telling me is my fault cos i suppose to wait for 24hrs only later i can use my iphone.
I complained stated tat no one told me anything about tis...beside tat i need to charge d battery for min 8hrs b4 i can use it.
luckily w/o much debate..after 48 hrs..d digi waived d RM160 for me.

Anyone here facing difficulties in receiving SMS from others even call before? I'm facing it now.. Mine still under warranty.. Can I exchange it one to one?

I am with Maxis with 3 supplementary lines now. I plan to switch to Digi with iPhone 4 (cheaper plan ). When I switch to the Digi iPhone plan, am I allow to have supplementary lines?

not sure but mostly they will suggest the rm68 package.

I think Digi or Maxis will launch the iphone 4 before Raya.
Predicting by checking SG Singtel website, seems 9th Sept onwards, they got plenty of stocks and customer can just walk in to purchase (of course is bound by contract).

From the stock status that Singtel have, seems that Apple have plenty of stocks coming to every country. Hopes we can preorder our iphone4 soon.

I highly doubt it. Now its already the 6th of September, plus the Raya breaks, Maxis will probably do preorder only in 2nd or 3rd week of September with delivery in 4th week or October.

Maybe after holiday, the telco staff have to start working hard..
Maxis staff have to find ways to prevent existing customer switch to digi
Digi staff have to cope with the overwhelming orders...lol

Maybe their price won't change but they will revise their data caps to give more it more value. I agree the pre-order won't start soon. I remember last year the pre-order started the very last days of September and in the hands of early adopters by end of October. When I put in my order for 3GS in October, only the end of November I received it. I was the in second wave. Hehehe...
