@prazole,
If U cut the card wrongly, it just won't work ; maybe U need to get a new one? Don't know anyone using DiGi on iPhone 4 but perhaps U can just wait for some other forummers to respond biggrin.gif

Good Luck!

im pretty sure i didnt cut it wrongly
i even patch it up & reuse with my other phone and the sim still works

so its not the cutting issue.. maybe coz its not the 3G sim ?

to existing iphone4 + Digi owner
which type of simcard are you using?
prepaid/normal sim without 3G broadband/Sim with 3G broadband?

Probably due to the old chipset of the sim card that doesn't support the new iphone, well that's my opinion, and this idea comes from the logical thinking.

What about the death grip on iPhone 4 with Digi. Mind to comment, if there's any problem?

DIY - SIM to Micro-SIM

user posted image
Place a white paper over the ip4 micro sim tray, then get a firm n nice crease by molding the paper against the micro sim cut out.

user posted image
Get a pen n draw the outline of the crease.

user posted image
Cut it, and the piece of paper should fit the micro sim tray.

user posted image
Mask the cut pies of paper over ur SIM and draw an outline with a pen. Then carefully cut the SIM with a sharp pair of scissors.

user posted image
Use a pair of nail file to make micro adjustments to the cut SIM. This is to ensure that the chip is not damaged.

user posted image
Eventually u will have a nice fit.

Take ur time doing it. Cut less then file coz if u over cut, u can't go back.
Have fun.

This tutorial was made by steps that have been informed and posted by some forumers here.
Good luck.

I just got my iPhone 4 and it is running with DiGi sim card. Using the sim card which I got from the iPhone 3GS. 3G and edge running smoothly. So I guess your sim is having some problem. Try going to digi and change it.

I would like to ask about the bill statement for the plan. I'm currently subscribing the iDigi 60 plan for about 2 months already. But I'm shock to see my bill RM100+.

QUOTE
My bill summary
Monthy Fixed Charges 88.00
Call Charges 42.22
Other Credit & Charges Total (Contract) -28.00
Service Tax 6.51

Total Current Charges 108.73
What I'm really wondering is that it seems like the RM60 per month is excluding call and sms charges. Is it? rclxub.gif Most of the call charges came from my SMSes , RM35 to be exact. I understand that in the plan , they give 200 free sms each month. My main question here , after i exceed 200 free sms a month , do the sms charges stick in the Monthy Fixed Charges or does it ADDS the Monthy Fixed Charges?

I used to subscribe to the normal digi postpaid. Didn't have so much confusion there =\ . All my sms costs is still in the RM50 digi postpaid plan not add on to the RM50. rclxub.gif

So , would anyone care to guide me through? smile.gif

The Rm 60 that you pay is inclusive of your calls and sms. 200 mins call and 200 sms.
Once you pass those 200 mins call and 200 sms. You will be charge 15 cents per minute for calls & 10 cents for sms
So lets say Monthly Fixed Charge(Rm 60). You use more than your monthly fixed charge.
We put Rm10 for example. So the RM10 will be added to your Monthly Fixed Charge. That means you will have to pay Rm70 in total smile.gif

From the way you put your charges. You are being charged 60 for Monthly Fixed Charge
Then you made extra call charges of 42.22 and tax of 6.51. So that means you used 280 minutes of extra call that month laugh.gif
So you add up everything and give a total of 108.73.

A little birdie in DiGi told me that DiGi is planning for 25/26th September launch.

Take it with a pinch of salt.
