even in maxis website, there is no mention of 16gb anymore in their rate plans. only 32gb available.

if based on d maxis thread, it will be around the same time lar. preorder for maxis around sept15. den 1-2weeks after dat oni the fone will b released. i feel it wil be a simultaneous release.

my biggest advice is to wait and see for the price of iphone4. by den the 3gs 8gb shud be widely available. if u wan bigger storage, u cud get it 2nd hand 3gs 16/32gb from one of the forumers or get the iphone4 instead. 4x more pixel reso shud be enuf to tempt u smile.gif bout the current availability of digi iphone 3gs, mayb our digi sifu's can help out notworthy.gif

but till now not even a single leak in regards to the pricing and such. most probably the current tiers will be maintained.

For hot products in Malaysia now, like iPhone 4, telcos will not sell direct for the first few months. They don't earn much from a single sale to one user, with all the promo/marketing cost. Telco would rather tie you down for 12-24 months contract, i.e. recurring monthly revenue for them.

Therefore, if they do sell direct, do not expect below 2.4k for 16GB or below 2.8k for 32GB. Most probably similiar price like previous 3GS, RM2490 and RM2990.

bro wat u smokin lar..hahahaha.. its already stated the RRP should be 2290 and 2690. they cant sell outright more than these prices. outright should start after d postpaid customers finished their shoppin spree. unless ofcorse the RRP differs from maxis, which clearly wont happen as it is controlled by Apple.

fyi maxis did not withdraw the plan. its just hidden from public view, and open to the ppl who are in the booking page. as its of no use to consumers other than the ppl who are attending the booking launch. mayb they will open it back after the launch. but i feel dat should be maxis' final plans. its quite good n i dun see dem tweakin with an already good plan, unless we're gettin extra mins. haha.

although digi's plan is cheaper compared to maxis, u have to take into context its coverage and 3g speed, which aint all dat good. not to mention low subsidy on the fone. its almost like the 3gs launch, with lotsa number twisting.

dat if ur tethering. by using ur iphone, its incredibly tough to finish even 1gb, what more 2gb.

although i wish digi all d best on their sales, i have to say maxis really hammered it dis time with the amount of consumers ytdy at gardens. i mean if a midnite launch can be so packed with ppl working the nxt day, imagine how an off day wud look like with massive amount of buyers. just feel mayb digi misjudged their decisions.
