so CHIV Extreme is of digital pwm, i wonder how bout CHIV formula, conventional pwm?

another model can be considered is geil evo 2 sir, rated 2k @ 6-9-6, priced @ $25x~26x iirc. i'd say it's OK considerin d it's binned @ CAS6.

i believe mid range of psc sticks should have no problem doin 2k @ 7-9-7 (or somewhere near), but any higher really depend on luck. so far gskill have impressed me w/ their flare, sadly i have no chance to test any pi series & my x6 need to go, very soon!!!

formula is analogue. anytime u see u can change pwm speed etc means digital.

geil evo.. distro is in singapore and is priced ridiculously
i had a geil stick ddr2 last time that was rated at 1250 CL4 lol..
price paid was rm2100..worked only for 2 weeks before i did C/N instead of rma.

again psc 2k CL6.. dont be so consumed by it so much.
its the same as gskill pi 2k C6

if u really serious about top line c6
get the triple kit c6 that was made for x58

i am ordering some pi now on waiting for the 2k c6 triple kit from gskill direct
so if u guys want i can ask the pricing

let me give u some experience on dram rating

2200 C8 elpida hyper dual kit same vdimm as the 2000 8-8-8-24 triple kits
2250 C8 elpida hypers dual kit aka GTX2 is about the same as the 2000 7-7-7-20 triple kits

so that 2k C6 PSC for triple kit .. is the best bin kit and should be same as the 2533 CL9 GTX4
while the 2k C7 PSC triple kit should be just the same as the 2400 C9 kit
so ddr3 dual 2k C6 kit looking at the availabilty and how easy to get them since i have been waiting for the triple kit for already 3 weeks from gskill
should be same as the 2k C7 triple kit
so far on binning difference has always been for ddr3 is the tRAS.

can't really say that sir, if 25x is ridiculously priced then u should chekc other stuff as well. CHIV formula priced @ $455 (mind that it's a shop which considered OK) until now while lyp sellin @ much lower price. stuff in sg always more expensive but some ppl always think it's cheaper over here...

undoubtedly gskill can do as gud but d availability is another issue sir. distro only bring in selected model & unfortunately pi 2k cas6 is not in d list. we only have ripjaws 1600 cas7, eco 1600 cas7, pi 1600 cas6, ripjaws 2000 cas9 only iirc...

i believe no one will go as far as buyin tripple channel to run on amd, at least not for d regulars here whose on small~normal pay check sir...

PSU and casing

This one I fully raise my legs and hands agreed on that.

PSUs are about the same price and are cheaper not more than 10-20 dollar margin.

i'm using AMD Athlon X2 5000+ with Biostar TA785GE 128M...currently i'm already unlocked to Phenom FX-5000 without problem....but the highest overclocked this proc only 2.64Ghz @240Mhz*11 (higher than 240mhz increment will be failed to boot up) ...i saw may user can OC this proc at @3ghz...help me to guide to OC this proc...at least @ 2.8Ghz...i think it's will be HT & NB setting...please help guide me..thanks...

of course bro..as per attachment it's just using stock voltage...after failed to reboot...i'm already pump the vcore to 1.45v & NB to 1.4v....my ram is 800Mhz

SO UR RAM IS 800,BUT U AT BIOS HOW MANY UR RAM FREQ OC??

ok..i'm limit my ram speed to 667mhz...my mobo didn't show the ram freq actually...
