hi, recently i just bought a 1tb transcend.. however it comes with dual usb which can only enable the hddisk to run smoothly... however, my tv only has one usb port.. is there anyway i can do so that i can enjoy watching movies on tv using my hddisk?

Hmm, thanks for clearing up the PSU issues. I've been wanting to buy an AVR and UPS for quite some time now, but now with this HDD failure guess those take a backseat I guess. So a 2TB HDD is more worth it then? But >RM500 is really high wor...

Rumours = until end of this year hdd price will fluctuating because of demand, flood in Thai & middle person..
Better chg to ssd..

My 1 TB hitachi HDD is bought on 2010 is making a beeping and buzzing noise.. Is it dead? I got alot of files and documents inside. the thing is, I freaking lost the fcking receipt!!!

As long as hdd is still in warranty period.

So you suggest to not buy HDD until next year (2013)? Going to get a SSD as boot drive and software. But still need another HDD like Caviar Black or Barracuda XT for games or high performance needs eg. fraps recording. Currently only using a single WD Green 1TB.
