So you suggest to not buy HDD until next year (2013)?
Going to get a SSD as boot drive and software.
But still need another HDD like Caviar Black or Barracuda XT for games or high performance needs eg. fraps recording.
Currently only using a single WD Green 1TB.

And I heard HDD price will keep fluctuating throughout year 2012.

My WD Green 1TB is at 39C-40C even after CrystalDiskMark test.

Roughly RM 0.46/GB. You decide.
To me, still expensive.
I remembered it was like RM 0.1-RM 0.2/GB last time.

Maybe this is internal HDD price last time but external or internal it's still HDD.
It's a matter of with or without external enclosure.

Many people said it'll become better in Feb/Mar/Apr.
Well, who knows?
It will keep fluctuating throughout this year cause many people are waiting for the price to go down and by the time the price go down, demand spikes up and price go back up.
However, the price should stabilize in next year.
