Har?
What are you talking about?
What do you mean I discount? I'm not even a seller nor a distributor.

The prices are from viewnet.
Don't belief me? SEE THIS: http://viewnet.com.my/file/Pricelist.pdf

Still don't belief? CALL THEM: (603)-2145 2545

If you even bothered to check the last thread in V2, the last several pages you'll see the prices has dropped below RM200.
Get your own facts right. Don't act smart just because you think you are and call me cheapskate in the process. sleep.gif

He is NOT the seller.
The price is in fact cheaper than this "RM5 discount". It is actually "RM6 discount". laugh.gif - RM194 according to viewnet's latest price list. (21-7-2010)

Why so serious? hmm.gif

hi guys my old cap ayam casing is quite small. what the distance is best to keep the drive apart. i plan to add 1 more hdd (disk no.4) and if do that the hdd will become stick together. maybe about 1cm apart. will new cpu casing can give more space?

Either you put a bigger case fan that blows the hard disk or the best bet would be investing in a good case. I've seen some cases that has 200mm fan at the front. Imagine the airflow. brows.gif

guys, a question:

the transfer speeds of external hdd, does it depend on the casing?

like, are there any difference between cap ayam cases and those that come with the casing by default?

for example, i have this Cliptec case with a 640 gb WD 2.5" caviar blue inside. how would it compare to the WD Passport 2.5" drive?

thanks!

Try to benchmark it, if around 30MB/s, it doesn't really matter much.

Seriously how come the price for HDD can drop so fast but I don't see the same trend for SSD. I'm thinking to buy one for my gaming setup but now it still over my budget. Anyone know any 'insider' information about SSD price dropping in the future? brows.gif

Because SSDs are a lot harder to make than HDDs and the next generation of SSD technology isn't quite in place yet. As for 'insider' information, it's well known that Intel is working on releasing it's 3rd gen stuff in the second half of the year. When Intel released their 2nd gen stuff, prices dropped 60%, so hopefully something similar will happen for the 3rd gen.
