Got my desire last week, bought it at the Maxis authorize partner at The Mines. Have to wait for 3 days since they don't keep stocks at the store. If you want on the spot have to buy at Maxis center at KLCC. Other branch I'm not sure.

If you hate the CN/THAI keyboard, install the HTC IME mods keyboard from XDA. I think someone posted the link somewhere before. Haven't tried Swype yet.

1 more question, i have added a contact as favorite. But how do i remove it if i do not want it anymore?

Pavillion got ready stock . Berjaya Times Square closing , so they dont keep stock .

Edit the contact and under group you can remove the contact from the Favourite group.

I'm having this MAJOR problem with my Desire.

When I call, the display goes black, even when I pull my face away from the phone. My proximity sensor doesn't seem to be working.

Kinda sucks that I can't hang up on anyone in a call, and I can't even order McD's cause can't use my keypad. This is driving me nuts.

Still under warranty but lazy to go change and reinstall everything.

Anyone facing the same problem?

have you tried to just call then put your finger @ the sensor. then remove it?
normally it is around 1/2 sec then the screen will resumes.

its happen to me, that is due to the casing i am using, its blocked the sensor. now i using the gel protector, so far so good.

Yes, Im using chmpSms too and the speech-to-text works well, bear in mind u need data connection to use the speech-to-text.

Ya, did something block the sensor? Maybe your casing? Btw, the sensor is on the upper left corner near the screen...

I don't use any casing, and I even tried to remove my screen protector.
Tried putting my finger on top and removing it as well, nothing works.

I'm hoping it's some software bug so I don't have to get a new set, but seeing how everyone else's Desires are fine, I think it should be a hardware prob. Sien ah.

anyone got this problem.... right now when i start typing something in either Messages, or maybe Facebook, anything that requires typing it tend to start with "m."
