If you're using Amon-RA, you dont need to name it update.zip. You can freely name the .zip to anything. Folder is supported by Clockwork, Amon-RA needs the .zip file to be in the root of the SD.

The sync problem is a global issue regardless of what ROM you're on

i have the same problem before but i think i found a solution/workaround.

Here is what i do to update my facebook fren's list.  Goto People > Online Directories (that little earth icon at the bottom) > Facebook

Press menu then Refresh.

i gotta admit of all the phone i use, Desire is the one giving em the most headache when i re-org my contact.  Prob because of the integration to facebook.

At one point i just couldn't figure out why my contact number appear twice and some with spaces or hyphen.  what i did is to export my contact from SIM and import it to gmail contact.  then i remove all contact from People (make sure my phone have not contact at all).

I edit all my contact in gmail contact then i synch.  I solve a lot of my problem.  anyway, once in a while i still get contacts mixed up. Like B's phone nu,ber suddenly appear in A...!!!!  or i can see C's phone number but when i edit, there is nothing to edit.

i guess there must be some bugs somewhere.

I am planning to root my Desire some time next weekend (after I get my new laptop). So many version of Froyo out there, which is best? The last I saw recommended by pluginbaby said that it does not come with "Stock" which is an application that I need.

i am on 2.1.  i think its just one of those function that hides sumwhere.

anyone on leedroid 1.6? i could only sync 468 contacts from facebook. it skips alot of contacts...

got a question here. my contacts in the people app are sync with my facebook contacts but for some reason the contacts don't update. some of my friend's fb pictures are not updated to the latest ones. is there a way to make them update? cant seem to find it on google

I thinking about it but decided to go with LeeDroid because he has more supporters, hence assume his release is more stable.
