when can v update to htc sense froyo 2.2? before updating,do we have to root our phone 1st?

Desire VS Nexus One what is the difference?

Desire better with optical trackpad.While Nexus with Trackball.And Nexus has 2.2 froyo official update.Desire not yet as HTC needs to process the Sense and such.

which one is better to get? Since both of them having very very similar specs besides the ram amount

HD2.Nah.Don't consider Winmo since WinMo 7 isn't up for update.And I really love Nexus before.But since speed matters and AMOLED,think Desire win hands down

Btw, why android is so famous nowadays, what so great? I dont really understand cause all these while i am using symbian and been using almost all symbian OS version too comfortable with it.

I thought Desire processor same as Nexus and both also using AMOLED right? Just the ram differs~

anyone have issue with their alarm not going off???

I set a repeat alarm but only work on the first morning. So far i notice on 2 occasion my alarm did not ring. gonna look for a alarm apps.

not going on or going off? not going off is very scary indeed.. haha..yes, happened to me so many times.. if i set it to set for the next few minutes, it rang.. but if i test to wake up on the next morning, it didnt.. so i tried an alternative alarm app.. seems ok so far.. n on some u can even set a puzzle as in clicking on dots to stop the alarm.. u would be partially awake that time

what alternative alarm app guys using ? ..

am using alarm klock, ring me till up, non stop....

i love the htc sence, but i hate the lousy camera

Are you guys using a task killer tool?? If yes, don't end the Clock task!! and especially don't end all task!! manage it individually.

I'm 99.99% convinced this is why your Alarm not going off. I had same issue many months back with my Hero. After that no issues.

Since when HTC have a poor camera?
The camera on Desire is pretty decent imho.
Only the video recording is poor, i think.

imho, desire camera is lauya.. miss my iphone camera especially when using TrueHDR app

To me, all iphone and desire camera sucks. Oh well, pardon my eyes as already used to DSLR quality.
