Hi nitin, what do you mean by full charge-discharge cycle? Care to explain more on it?

it means use the battery till maybe left few percent only charge till 100 percent..

ok my swype is working fine now,,, dont know what happen, tekan here and there then suddenly keyboard become swype..

Added on July 10, 2010, 3:37 pmGuys, the wifi hotspot feature on the 2.2 desire froyo leak is awesome.. ive just tried to enable my friend to connect with me via wifi and we both played Fifa 2010 smoothly... tried before using an external wifi which end up with a laggy game.. now my friend can connect to me directly.. superb feature which we all could appreciate other than it can tether internet connection, it also functions as a lan router for multiplayer gaming..

Thats right, as KTCY explained, charge the phone only with the battery reaches below a few percent remaining. Then charge to 100%. Let it become again 3-5% after use, only then charge again. Repeat this cycle and you will see an improvement in battery life after 6 - 8 cycles. Good Luck!

first of all, you need to root ur phone. if you have rooted, i can give you a file that can assign 'home', 'menu', 'back', 'trackpad', or 'search' button to wake you phone ('power' button will be making it sleep only)

Added on July 10, 2010, 7:00 pmI don't think you can use the apk file. I did try that before - it doesn't work as I suspect when you download it the date of download is builtin. When I upgraded to Froyo I try to run the apk file which I kept a copy. The message trial expire appear.
So I download it again at beta.swype.com - it was ok. Infact I noted since the last download , when I go to Marketplace I have receive a few notifications to update the software. Last update notice was only 2 days ago. But the beta download is now not available anymore since end Jun. Those who downloaded it will continue to receive updates until a new version is release

Just got my Desire today. Fall in love with it the second I hold it in my hand when I tested it at the shop - solid and sleek. Just reach home, haven't set it up yet.

after 1 weeks charge my phone finally can stand until 3 days..i just use it for sms, call..and some times surf net or market not exceed 15 min~30minXD

indeed.. i have not being playing with my phone much and now i know how long it can last...previously i was so into playing games and the battery drained like hell.. lol

lol..same..last time i open the mobile internet..it only can surf for half days..then the battery drained..

it is stable indeed.. been using it for 3 days already.. all smooth but so much more can be optimized.. thats why htc is taking so long to make it perfect.. just wait for the official release.. u will be surprised by it

how do u rate ur difficulty of rooting out of 5? what is the use of goldcard? do we need to create it? or is it just for locked set? i dont understand that part. btw now ur warranty void? or have u found the way to unroot it?
