Ok, I have figured it out now. I just forgot how to do it, since i use the goldcard tool which is easier so that makes me forgot.

how do you unroot and what rom are you running now ?
*
No, not yet. I'm still enjoying Modaco ROM since i have access to online kitchen. I feel like it's faster and better than original stock rom and i havent faced any problems since i use this modaco rom till now.

Added on July 4, 2010, 10:12 pmanybody knows what is the requirement of SD Card (i mean what class and where to buy) in order to use A2SD or A2SD+ feature to work properly?

was just about to ask if you're using a2sd biggrin.gif there's no requirement but it's recommended to use a class 6 .. i'm still deciding if i should install a2sd on my desire or not
*
I have used A2SD and A2SD+ in Froyo ROM (r21 from modaco) using sandisk class 2 4GB, but I faced problem when playing games so i changed to r3.1 without A2SD, and I feel it's better and faster.

better root it. trust me you wont regret.. you can flash any rom you want and you will feel the different after that (it's faster and better than stock rom) you can even customize the rom using online kitchen from modaco(must pay), but soon there will be other online kitchen which is free. Just Root It!

ive tried it... not exactly the one i want though..
it will just disable the lock on our phone... i want the unlock button(by default the power button) to be assign to other button...
*
first of all, you need to root ur phone. if you have rooted, i can give you a file that can assign 'home', 'menu', 'back', 'trackpad', or 'search' button to wake you phone ('power' button will be making it sleep only)

Curious~~ hmm.gif

nope, you wont get rooted since it's official rom and you wont get your phone rooted by just flashing rom, you need to do rooting steps. Check my signature for simpler guide for rooting ur phone.

mind share ur problems when rooting desire ? (if have any)
*
I'm sorry, I cant share the problems with you since i dont have any....

QUOTE(phantomash @ Jul 15 2010, 07:34 PM)
how do you deal with the warranty issue, since once rooted the warranty is consider void right? any advice on this?
*
you can unroot it before you claim the warranty, coz there was someone who did that (i read it in other forum). I have never tried to unroot my phone yet, coz i dont want to do that at the moment(it's just too early to go back). why would i want to unroot my phone when my phone now is better in performance(speed n battery), more free space, can access paid apps, and many more? so my advice to u, just root it! follow the rooting guide in my signature, it's easier & simpler to do.

i cant say that i'm sure bout that, but it should be no problem with claiming the warranty after unroot it. at least this is what i read from other forum n i gotta believe that so that i can maximize the features of my Desire.

maliqu3, just wondering what ROM is that?

Here is my home screen, simple but does what i need nicely. The new SMS interface is also nice. Currently on my day 1 with DeVillain 1.0 | Froyo (2.2) & Sense UI.
*
I'm using pays-rom 2.3. i would like to flash the froyo rom, but not now. need to wait a lil bit.

which that better, xperia X10 or htc desire? I like xperia design and camera and like also desire because support android 2.2...
*
definitely, Desire is better. Xperia doesnt support multi-touch if i'm not mistaken.

Well , they claimed that it wouldn't support it but then they said it would with the future update of the Android 2.1 which is coming this October or November if i'm not wrong.
*
well, i dont know bout that. what i know is xperia 10's screen doesnt support multi-touch, so it's like hardware problem. even though they update it, it still wont have multi touch. but we'll see about that, coz i'm not sure either.
what i'm sure is HTC has become the best android phone maker and then followed by samsung. so my suggestion, buy htc or samsung. that's it!

Do NOT flash the official leak Froyo rom as it's on HBOOT 0.87 which is unable to root at present.

p/s : I read it from XDA smile.gif
*
yes you are right, if you flash the official froyo rom (the link i gave earlier). but, one of the devs in XDA has made a rooted version of this official rom. so for those who have rooted their phone can flash this rom with peace in mind.
