im abit confused by multitasking for the iOS4..when u double tap the home button, are those the recently opened apps or apps running in the background?will leaving all of those things on affect the speed and performance of my phone?since i think only 3-4  of my apps supports iOS4 or multitasking atm..
*
Actually, I read somewhere that the apps are not running in the background. That is just a list of your previously used apps. Only 2-3 apps would be running in the background. It is there basically for your convenience, basically in suspended animation.

Exactly. And the apps that are running in the background are things like the iPod, GPS navigator, VoIP, etc. iOS 4 will run as many apps possible as long as the memory can handle it. Beyond that, apps go into suspension until brought back to life.

Any special tips/tricks (i.e. getting out of carrier plans, customs, etc.) that I should know about before I propose to long-lost college roommates? :-p

But if you get a UK unit, if any problems occurred, that would mean going back to UK to claim the warranty, right?

Yes is thoroughly safe . THere are pros and cons. Some guys are happy and some are not - actually all depends on what you really want to have in the upgrade

Looking at the various issues facing i4, not a wise choice for early adopters especially; believe apple will solve de problem eventually so is better to wait until Malaysian launch, and in White no less.

If i wait for malaysia i won't get because i'll be back in Moscow by that time. Thats why i took the opportunity to get from UK. And those problems only to some units. Many ppl don't have such problems such as our LYN forumers.
