Found out with joy that the combo of iPad Camera Connection Kit + iPad + iPhone 4 + Panasonic DMC-GH1 recording HiDef 720p Motion JPEG saved in Quicktime container transfers well among each of these components even on their rawest form.

Scenario: Take pics on the GH1, take out the SD card from the GH1, slot it into the SD connector kit from the Cam Kit, image transfers fine. Take 720p Motion JPEG video on the GH1, transfers using the same method, transfers fine. Heck, even the iPhone 4 connected to the iPad using the USB connector from the Cam Kit transfers pics and HD videos recorded on the iPhone 4. Even movies edited on the iMovie app, with completed transitions and effects, plays gorgeously on the iPad.

Already vacated the second WiFi iPad I have to be used as photo/movie viewer to check the results taken on the GH1. Pardon if slowpoke, but I was surprised the GH1's Quicktime Motion JPEG videos transfers raw to the iPad and works! biggrin.gif

I returned mine today and settled for a refund since they keep insisting it is a software issue and didnt want to give me a replacement. Then I place another pre order on the spot smile.gif

The way to settle things if u get a defective unit. So there is really nothing to worry about. If u dun like it dun buy or just get a refund. I would have settled for the unit if everyone else is having the antenna problem. But since like it only occurs to selected units.....thats y I tak mau la...hahah.

Guys....at the end of the day u r the boss of ur own money, if u r over skeptical over this issue.....I suggest dun buy. If you can live with that issue, then buy. My personal comment on Iphone 4: Awesome, brilliant and responsive. I am definitely going to wait for another two weeks for that!

now we need malaysian iphone 4 users to do a vid to prove that iphone 4 is working fine eventhough they covered the so called "antenna" with palm without a bumper or casing...

please stop saying that iphone 4 is working fine in mas...we need prove on it...

consumer report already reported this case...i guess i will wait till they fix it then i will get one for myself...why we need to waste money on those defected products?

hi, if u realli wan a good proof, ask apple..iPhone 4 users here are telling you wutever they knoe & experienced, doesnt meant the y hav to proove anything to you, after all, they r not sellers asking you to buy iPhone 4 from them..as wut they experienced they doesnt have any problem using it & they r telling you..

so why asking them to stop saying iphone 4 is working fine when theirs is realli working fine in malaysia?

as most of them user have said, if u dun trust it, dun buy it...wait till everyone tested it for few months, then u can rest assure...MY 2 CENTS

I can't believe everyone is still arguing..

Take from me guys. The GUY that have the reception issue on the iPhone 4. I've loving it every minute especially the retina display. My old iPhone 3G looks like a china iPhone now.. lol tongue.gif

So,try to keep it clean and i hope other users that get their iPhone 4 won't run into this problem just like how stringfellow, beavis, etc.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Guys, I'd like to ask:

1. I see alot of forumers already have their units of iPhone4. May I know where did most of them bought it from? And around what price?

2. I'm in Europe right now and it seems they sell the iPhone4 (unlocked) for €625 (16GB) which is about RM2.5k. Is it safe to buy the unit let's say from Rome Italy?

1. Mostly from UK or US
2. Consider yourself lucky if u can get one becos most stores are out of stock or the stocks are reserved for ppl in the priority list. Rm2.5k is ok but u have to bear in mind that u cant claim warranty once u bring it back to malaysia

i do experience some signal drop even when i am not holding it. sometimes i get full bar and the next second it drops to 1 bar. same thing on my iphone 3gs and iphone 4 altho both having different bar readings.

I currently have the 2 of the same sim card so i could probably test it thoroughly.

have a couple of iphone 4 in hand and will do more field test soon.

My set does display some reception issue, if only if when it is being gripped tightly and securely, I seriously mean tightly, more of like squeezing it with my right hand. And the signal will drop to one bar, but never out of service.

I take it as O2 reception is good enough in UK, hence only a minor issue for me and my set. More of psychological effect of knowing the presence of such issue, rather than the annoyance caused by such issue/flaw/defect whatever you want to call it.

Tried to replicate problems we saw over the net, where even a finger touching the area will cause drop of signal, but doesn't happened to my set, unless like mentioned above, when the iphone is strangled.

Anyhow, whatever the issue is, I have no regret of owning it, and love it actually. The brilliant display itself anytime overcome/cover up the so called reception flaw to me.

apple never needed pc fairs to sell their stuffs, i dont think they'll start now, if you guys are eager to get yerself an iphone 4 and are currently maxis postpaid users, dial 123 and say you'd like to be enrolled in the Maxis iphone loyalty program, state the colur and capacity of teh iPhone 4 you are interested in, when they do have the stocks you'd be given first priority

Hi guys, i've some question to ask on behalf of my gf.
I've updated her iphone 3G to iOS4. Everything goes smooth,
but then recently she found that her phone will be automatically quit the applications and returned to the menu home screen. (For example, Facebook, Godfinger, etc).

Anyone know what problem is it?
Is it the iOS4 is still not that compatible on 3G? Should i restore back to 3.1.3? sad.gif

other manufacturers need the PC fair audience to launch new stuff so they get a lot of exposure. Apple? just look at the latest MBP refresh, no announcement, no events no nothing, and still lots of people bought them tongue.gif

that's just an MBP. iPhone apa lagi tongue.gif

Seems from the internet some people has no issue on this as well. Could it be the way its manufacture this phone, some are well placed; thus the antenna problem doesn't exist.

Well, hopefully the 2nd batch of iPhone 4 can solve all the iPhone with reception issue.
