Hmm.. Benny, I flashed my ROM with Energy.
Somehow its contain built in Androids? There is a "Launch Android" When i hit it, it flash to Android. Though i have Froyo in my SD card, will this means that its actually flashing to the Froyo? On the site note, before I hit the Launch Android's button, i try to navigate to my Android Folder with File Explorer. Then run the clrcad follow by haret.exe. Once restart it stucked at the lock screen. When i click the clrad, nothing happened. But how do i know if it's running or when it will run finish? Thanks |

QUOTE(benny888 @ Sep 3 2010, 06:13 PM) Did you HardSPL your phone first ?? done that, still sameYours I see is stock original rom. Phone must be unlock thro HSPL to install the Android rom which need a rooted platform. Read here for explanation and how to do it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477 TIP : Make sure battery at least 70 % charge, both SD card and sim card taken out. During flash, NEVER disconnect the USB cable until HSPL is completed Added on September 3, 2010, 6:19 pm Added on September 4, 2010, 12:51 amso i look on some youtube tutorial, mine does not come out bunch of text with the linux penguin on top. just a few text of top left & then it fades out and nothing happen This post has been edited by [+]: Sep 4 2010, 12:51 AM |

I do know one of the earlier Android rom released in early June has such issues Added on September 4, 2010, 10:13 am QUOTE(faizpsp89 @ Sep 3 2010, 06:38 PM) Hey Benny in android mode,my touch screen often gets stuck..Then i like need to lock and unlock my screen then it will be ok.. Often ??? Once in a while ,maybe . " A while" meaning, probably 1-2 times a day. Well there are people complaining about this, " often" is rare. Is that a bug? These are related to Windows rom and possibly SD card quality and lastly having too many open programs. You can try those roms that offered 1 GB memory allocation instead of the 512MB if you like to have many apps being open same time. Some people had suggested using task killers, I for one NEVER use task killers. Those who exhort task killers think like Windows guys when according to Google official statement, Taskkiller is not necessary in Android. Though I do not use Task killers, I do believe it will help one to increase memory available immediately This post has been edited by benny888: Sep 4 2010, 10:16 AM |

Do you have this before you flash Android ?? I know some Windows rom cooks now built in this option to their rom. I read the Energy rom details, there is no mention of such feature. If so, then this will flash the rom which is inside the Android Folder . If this is soo, the manual process of clrcad and haret is not necessary I have mentioned numerous times and is mentioned in all the Android rom links, when you select CLRCAD , there will be NO response at all. Dont worry about it. Just tap CLRCAD once, then Haret.exe OR you can try flash Enegry version of Android rom : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733649 Make sure : Radio above 2.08 and your SD card is fresh formatted not using normal format but use the SD Format tool I recommended. The SD format is crucial step to eliminate hanging, freezing and lagging issues This post has been edited by benny888: Sep 4 2010, 10:47 AM |

HsLimMC : This is an example of a Windows Rom that comes with built Android boot loader. But the Energy rom you mention I didn't see such details in his summary of features:

No you cannot, as both the OS are not link. What I did was transfer my Windows mobile contact over to my Gmail account. After you load Android, you have to sign in your Gmail account and the contacts/calendar will be auto sync to your phone. My method of sync is a bit " leceh" - I have not really go about finding a better way - perhaps some one can advise me a better and easier solution ?Thanks for the barebone Android ROM Thanks This is what I do: 1. Updates my PIM data on the Android ( since this is now my active HD2 Android phone ) 2. The PIM data on the HD2 android will auto sync down with my iMAC PIM as I have set the Gmail account as my default PIM 3. When I connect my HD2 ( while on Windows Mobile ) to my iMAC, Missing Sync will update my PIM in the Windows Mobile Added on September 5, 2010, 12:37 pm QUOTE(+ @ Sep 5 2010, 10:09 AM) http://email.about.com/od/gmailtips/qt/Imp..._Into_Gmail.htmThis post has been edited by benny888: Sep 5 2010, 12:37 PM |
