Hi Bro Benny,
I would like to ask how do I flash my HD2 to Android? From your past previous post I'm quite lost. Do I need to Flash it to ChuckyDroid ROM before placing the mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7? Or can I just jump from my current Dutty's Rom -> mattc Leo + Froyo w/Sense 1.7? Thank you in advance |

QUOTE(HSLimMic @ Sep 3 2010, 09:18 AM) Hi Bro Benny, You can maintain your windows rom. Just download the android rom, extract it n copy the android folder ionto your sd card. On windows use file explorer locate the android folder on card, run clrcad ( you will have no respond , is to enable sound) follow by haret.exe. Phone will flash n takes about a minute n you will have android up.I would like to ask how do I flash my HD2 to Android? From your past previous post I'm quite lost. Thank you in advance I always advise you use a fresh format sd card to eliminate issues possibly attributed to rom or windows. Backup all sd card contents first. After successfully have android install, just copy back all your contents Changing to another android rom is freaking simple, just replace the android folder on card with the new android folder you extract from the new rom zip file I would suggest you read up first to see whether your present window rom has any issue with the android. Actually most new window rom cooked in the last one month should work , perhaps have issues with those older version |

You will have all your previous rom apps fully restored including their settings Another good backup is mybackuppro , there is also a free version. Make sure you install the dual boot cab When you switch off android, it will restart into windows mobile. From windows mobile you can switch back to android by just selecting the android tab. There are several ways to do it. Some android roms will auto put a android shortcut on windows/programs n you can then put this as a shortcut on homecreen. Some roms will auto restart n what you se is a home screen with 2 icons - android n windows mobile. Some roms, you have to locate the android shortcut on card If your android port cannot restart from windows, most probably your windows rom not suitable. That,s why I say a fresh format sdcard will help u eliminate issue of card or android rom problem Added on September 3, 2010, 10:28 amFor those who want a easy way out, you can install any of the bootloader app here : It will auto put a android shortcut on homescreen http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733752 This post has been edited by benny888: Sep 3 2010, 10:28 AM |

QUOTE(xander @ Sep 3 2010, 03:13 PM) benny on the gps u intro.. does it have sound on m'sia map? YES , that is why we need the brut version to have the voice navigation. The default Google Maps do not support voice for Msia and Spore. i tried navigate on the brut version with the voice apps installed.. weirdly there's no sound.. Check your Menu list : If you have downloaded the correct file - you should have 2 programs icons displayed : Maps [brut] and Navigation ( with the red letter word Brut) : Select this Navigation to launch your Map NOT the default Navigation ( without the brut ) Correct file name is : Maps [brut] version 4.3.0-brut14 Sametime make sure you have updated versions of Voice Search ; just go to Market ( use MarketAccess to enable paid apps access) and download update all Google Voice apps This post has been edited by benny888: Sep 3 2010, 03:33 PM |
