im finding a custom rom to flash... any suggestion?
i want to run android as well..

It is dual boot. You need to launch the Android boot from Windows. You can just keep a clean lean Window rom if you do not want to use it

Imagine I paid RM2899 for it when it was launch in Dec 09 !!!

It just works like any android phone with same features and functions. The android system is inside the phone, the sd card will store your data and programs ( if you have selected to install on card). At each reset there is no loss of data. Think of using it just as a android phone, forget about the windows. Windows only needed to boot into the android o/s. You can alternate use the windows mobile if you wish.
All apps are downloaded to card and apps install by default into phone. With veer 2.2 froyo you have option to install or force install onto card depending which rom you used. Official froyo allow install to card depend on developer whether they have upgraded app to install on card. In principle all system apps and widgets install to phone

android is addictive n buggy..... well my experience wif android so far is not so good... too late to list all the things down.. will try everything again tml.. night guys

my biggest problem now is i duno how to set the ring tone.. the default one doens't ring just vibrate...

i m sure my phoe on android have sound as i can play music n utube with sound...

On card /media/ audio copy soundfiles to alarms or notifications or ringtones to
Enable sound you wish.  If no such folder create it. Newbies to android suggest visit nexus or htc desire thread post 1 learn basics. For pc detect phone you must install android sdk link I given few posts up

I face lag in my first test too. Gave up using it. Few days later I reformat card n try new roms. It is OK now that's why i said is now a working useable rom. There is no lag. Superb and very fluid and is  equally match my nexus.

Xander : if you can install radio successfully means you are doing it right. If radio install fail the flash will not complete. I don't think radio affects the Bluetooth pairing. Did you try to reconnect and pair from PC. I am using Mac so can't say about windows

Frank possibly as much of the data on sdcard and system reads from it. I did an analysis of phone n card before and after install android. The android files took up about 260mb on card, phone 110 Mb. It is recommended to use at least class 4 card. Infact google suggests class 6 for latest veer 2.2. I am using a sandisk class 4
The windows rom I believe affect as before that I also use Miri but a heavily customized by elegance. The lag dissapear after I change to the plain Miri rom

Did you check your setting  /connect to pc ?

Default is charge only. Other choices are - htc sync, disk drive or usb thethe

NO idea then. It should work without any issues. What O/S are you using. It works on Mac OSX 10.5 , 10.62 and Windows notebook ( Win 7), desktop XP. If Vista - I have read many problematic issues but I dunno about this cos I don't have vista.
You can also try to UNMOUNT the sd card and MOUNT it back : Settings/SD & Phone storage

Why don't you try ? Actually I never bother as I have no such issues. BTW what Android rom are you on ? Did you try another rom ?

Cos they offer better service. and they would probably process your unit foc knowing you have hspl it. Several members in this forum had confirm that. They change my dopod u1000 motherboard foc when I honestly told them I screwed up SPL it then. I bought the dopod in kl but still under warranty. That was 3 years ago. You can try your luck if htc kl wants to charge you.

any idea/tips to.make my hd2 smoother?..i feel its just lagging even after clearing all the open programs..i've also updated to the latest firmware..my god what a failure la even with 1ghz..haihh..

Don't blame the hardware! At 1 GHz, if HD2 can't hack it not many other device can.   By default and using original ROM, HD2 is quite buggy.
Try this Chainfire Turbo3D patch. It should boost your device performance. There are many other tweaks that can also boost the performance. Google XDA.

Where and when you bought it ? There are so many types of roms, even in one region. There is no default - is different for different region. Best is ask your seller who sold to you. Actually you should have taked down all the radio and rom details first before you flash and have a backup copy of both radio and rom. Now only can guess based on area you buy and when you buy it.

Uninstallation
Only way to remove the HSPL is to flash an original SPL from SD card.
- Take any "RUU_signed.nbh" from a ship ROM and copy it to SD card.
- Rename it to "leoimg.nbh"
- Reset the device while pressing the volume down button.

Actually you can go to HTC website here ---> http://www.htc.com/sea/SupportDownload.asp...cat=2&dl_id=854

and key in your serial number. It will then give you the latest compatible ROM (non-Tmous) to download. This is officially from HTC and should not void any warranty. Flashing official ROM will install rom, spl and radio. So your hspl will be removed.
